As a part of the National IT organization, this position will:
Collaborate and consult to create and validate technical communication and training content about compute services targeted to customers and relationship managers.
Describe and document methodologies and measures to ensure appropriate processes and procedures are effective and exceed IT standards.
Partner with business relationship teams to educate customers on technical capabilities, provide competitive differentiation of technical design, and assist in creating technical solutions combining multiple products.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Experience with compute infrastructure components. Knowledge of and experience with product demonstration recording and playback solutions.
Communications: Strong interpersonal, negotiation, creativity, attention to detail, and oral and written communications skills tailored for the intended audience.
Risk Management: Is responsible for understanding and applying risk management discipline in decision making, and contributing to his or her function's risk management.
Decision Making: Works under direction with infrequent checks; follows established methods and clear-cut policy. Makes decisions when general instructions or established methods indicate action to be taken.
Prior experience in Technical Marketing Engineering, Technical Sales Engineering / Marketing, Technical sales or customer service roles; experienced in developing and creating targeted marketing and sales documentation via online and hard copy presentation formats.
Accomplished at collaboration, design and presentation of technical communication and training documentation to all levels of an Enterprise IT organization, from technical to senior level audiences.
Knowledge of cloud technologies and related application development patterns and techniques.
Familiarity with DevOps principles.
Excellent verbal and written communications; able to effectively communicate technical concepts and processes. Experienced in forging effective relationships and partnerships across the organization to achieve objectives.
Working Conditions: Will require the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc.
Physical Demands: Requires some degree of sitting (for prolonged periods of time), standing, lifting carrying, pushing, pulling less than 20 lbs.
Hours of Work: May require extended work hours. Occasional travel including overnight stays may be necessary.
U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident with three or more years of U.S. residency is required.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
