Job Description

Cyient is looking for a Technical Manager with hands-on experience in GIS systems and processes to join our team. You will work with our Energy customer to play a key role in understanding the project scope/customer requirement and establish the technical documents.

You will manage day to day running of the organization's operations in a non-manufacturing environment and provide effective methods in its business operations. You will develop, interpret and implement company policies and procedures. You will ensure compliance with these policies, prepares related reports and audits

This position can based remotely or out of our in our East Hartford, Connecticut HQ and will work with both customer and offshore teams in multiple time zones.

You Will:

  • Identify opportunities for automation by leveraging the latest software and digital technologies

  • Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects

  • Travel to customer locations to conduct technical workshops/requirement gathering sessions

  • Assess and refine data management processes

  • Work on technical proposals

You'll Need:

  • 10 + years of experience in data management processes (Conversion / Conflation / Maintenance / Migration)

  • Good domain skills in Electric / Gas / Water

  • Experience with ESRI ArcFM / Smallworld / GTECH / EUN technologies and data models

  • Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles

Job Description As part of the F135 Sustainment Team executing Performance Based Logistics Contracts, the Technical Management group supports for the growing F-35 fleet by defining maintenance and configuration strategy based on engineering inputs and fleet forecasting. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: * You will work closely with F135 Sustainment groups and other organizations such as Engineering and Depot Operations and our customers to ensure maintenance drivers are communicated to the F135 Sustainment Organization through the IT support tools associated with the F135 program * You will coordinate predicted maintenance schedules and plans with the hardware CAIPTs, translating engineering estimates to forecast modeling inputs and contribute through direct modeling or business case development related hardware life shortfalls and/or standard maintenance intervals. * Regular interactions with internal and external stakeholders on inputs to forecast and generating both standard analysis and potential scenario or ad-hoc analysis is critical to successful execution of this role. Education / Certifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, business, operations management or equivalent preferred. Bachelor's degree in another field with 5+ years experience indicating significant operations, procurement, maintenance management, or statistical analysis experience acceptable in lieu of specific focus of study. Experience/Qualifications Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's of Arts or Science * 5+ years of experience in Aerospace/Automotive/Industrial Power industries * Minimum 2 years Aerospace if balance of work experience provides significant relational database administration or analytics in a 2:1 ratio to Aerospace industry, or in any military supply chain logistics support roles * US Citizenship required, due to federal contracts Preferred Qualifications * Analytical mindset and bias towards engagement in defining vague problems into actionable tasks, skills in statistical analysis * Strong ability to communicate including presenting to upper management, and manage multiple projects * You will have proficiency in 2 or more of the following: SAP, Microsoft Office products, Oracle SQL, Team Center Development, Python Programming, Qlik, Lumira/Business Objects Development, Maintenix, Maximo, Enterprise Resource Planning * Candidate will have the ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance Raytheon Technologies is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
