We are looking for a Technical Machine Operator to join our team and support the Natural Ingredients business in Livingston, California. You will play a critical role in supporting a wide range of activities for the production process, including operating machinery and perform Flake Specialist duties as required. Major duties include, operating machinery, autonomous maintenance, housekeeping and working within a team that drives Key Performance Indicators (KPI).

What you'll do:

• Participate in activities required for fulfilment of production program: safety, quality and productivity

• Perform important safety checks in your assigned production area

• Ensure equipment is within calibration date and all systems are functioning correctly

• Adherence to 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) practices at all times

• Provides input for strategic designs and key performance indicators to better align and measure business unit goals and objectives

• Knowledge of Industrial Safety and Hygiene guideline with previous experience in plant production sites with added plus of exposure to food industry

Sensient Natural Ingredients is one of the largest producers and distributors in the world of dehydrated onion and garlic products as well as chili powder, paprika, chili pepper and dehydrated vegetables such as parsley, celery, and spinach. These ingredients are used in many of today's popular convenience foods. The Natural Ingredients unit is located in Livingston, California.

The salary range for this position is $27.91 per hour USD. Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions. In addition to salary, Sensient is proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits program to support the holistic well-being of our employees and their families. This position is also eligible for performance-based incentive pay.

RELOCATION: We are unable to offer relocation assistance. The successful candidate will be expected to work at the Livingston, California facility and must reside in the area or be willing to commute.
