Summary of duties:

  • Collaborate with training personnel regarding training-related matters, including determination of target audiences and breadth of training

  • Develop expertise in and apply the disciplines of training analysis, design, development, implementation, delivery, and evaluation

  • Negotiate with stakeholders to create and meet recommended project timelines

  • Develop, deploy, evaluate, and refine technical training and related matter for internal and external customers

  • Guide the use of performance-based training methods where applicable

  • Assist in the design, development, and instruction of train-the-trainer and on-the-job training programs

  • Evaluate existing training for effectiveness, recommend and implement improvements, and assess effectiveness of improvements

  • Assist in developing performance assessment metrics subsequent to training

  • Utilize current, cost-effective, value-added training methodologies

  • Ensure conformance with policies, procedures, established approval system, budgets, and trainer qualifications

  • Assist team and customer with complex technical or operational improvement functions and processes

  • Develop an understanding of bid proposal, project management, and new business development

  • Conduct activities in a safe manner and work in accordance with company policies

  • Other duties as required

You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Human Resources, Talent Development or Business.

  • Minimum of one year of experience in authoring/developing training courses (including knowledge of interactive training), traditional classroom training, technical/field training

  • Minimum of one year of experience using MS Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, Excel

  • US citizenship (capable of obtaining and maintaining a government security clearance)

  • One year of experience using Adobe Acrobat Pro

  • Proven ability in decision making, organizing, and problem-solving

  • Excellent facilitation skills

  • Knowledge of eLearning software
