Data Engineer Location: Seattle, WA Job Description - Position Summary/Job Description: Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IAC) principles with Terraform and CloudFormation.

Utilize your in-depth knowledge of AWS services to architect, develop, and optimize scalable solutions that meet business requirements. Develop and maintain Java Spring Boot applications, ensuring code quality, performance, and maintainability. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment, testing, and monitoring using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud-based applications and services for performance, availability, and security. Collaborate with DevOps and security teams to implement and enhance security best practices, compliance, and data protection. Participate in cross-functional team discussions, code reviews, and technical discussions to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Encourage collaborative efforts and camaraderie with on-shore and off-shore team members. Relevant engineering experience such as software development; critical reasoning skills; ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders; experience delivering quality engineering outcomes. Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CodePipeline, etc.) Strong problem-solving and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

AWS certifications (such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a strong plus The potential compensation for this role is based on labor costs in local markets, as well as the job-related skills, knowledge and experience of the candidate. Expected base pay for this role ranges from [$100,000] to [$135,000]. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits and additional compensation offerings, including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options as well as potential incentive or variable compensation.
