SAIC is looking for a Software Engineer Team Lead that must have experience in managing mid to large scale Software and Database Development, Maintenance, and Engineering (DME) efforts to include:

  • Supporting / implementing end customer System Development Life Cycle guidance

  • Requirements and analyses

  • Architecture and design

  • Development and integration

  • Development unit and functional testing Conversant in software code development to include Microsoft development tools and libraries, Microsoft operating systems and MS-SQL Server databases; Java development tools and libraries including java script; Linux operating and databases systems; Pega business process development framework; Salesforce development framework; and ServiceNow development framework.

  • Must be able to identify and mitigate risks to the program.

  • Must be able to manage to cost, schedule and performance.

  • Responsible for a highly visible program to include highly complex overarching technical management of aggregate software and database DME.

  • The Technical Lead must be familiar with Federal approved System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) guidance documents.



  • Must be a U.S. citizen

  • Must have a Public Trust clearance


  • Minimum 9 years of experience in related field. An advanced Degree is equivalent to 1 year of experience (including designs and development of software programming applications)

  • Supported and developed software applications/operating systems.

  • Must be familiar with Federal approved System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) guidance documents.

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four year college or university or a High School Degree and 16 years of relative business experience.

  • At least 9 years of experience in related field. An advanced Degree is equivalent to 1 year of experience.

  • Certifications in SAFe, and DevOps

This position will be part of a desktop team at the Boulder site that is responsible for supporting day-to-day desktop operations. It will include performing a variety of duties in support of end-users with application, desktop, and operating system issues. The responsibilities of this position will also include support of: * Classified and Unclassified desktop support * Desktop PCs, Workstations and Laptops. * Printers and other peripherals. * Virtual Teleconference Equipment; such as Cisco Telepresence, Tandberg TTC7-08, and other teleconference virtual devices. * Stationary communications devices, such as desktop and conferencing phones. * Mobile personal wireless devices; such as iPhone, iPad Tablets/Lite-weight, Laptops, fax machines. * Audio/visual systems, such as projectors and teleconferencing equipment. * Other electronic devices as required. This is not a telecommuting position. This is an onsite position based at the Boulder, CO Lockheed Martin Site. A current DoD security clearance, at a Secret or higher level, will be required for this position. It will not be required at the time of start date, but it will be a requirement to perform some tasks related to this position. Basic Qualifications: * Experience providing Desktop Support (Win 7 & Win 10) * Experience supporting desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals * Experience providing software applications support (Examples: antivirus and encryption software). * Experience with supporting tech refresh, imaging, and configuration management * Experience in computer hardware support including troubleshooting issues and replacement of internal hardware. * Proven strong collaboration and teaming skills. * Thorough follow-up and documentation; excellent customer service, oral and written communication skills * Must be able to travel to other LM, customer, and vendor sites * Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance * Location requires US Citizenship Desired Skills: * Strongly prefer an active Secret Level DoD Clearance * Apple product knowledge * Familiarization with networking and associated equipment * Working knowledge of server architecture and administration. * Knowledge of enterprises solutions (Examples: SCCM, Skype, VPN, etc.). * Experience with supporting remote sites. * Experience working with and supporting military customers. * Active Directory and GPO management * Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: job.Qualifications Lockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
