The TradeLens platform is built on an open technology stack and is underpinned by blockchain technology. It connects the ecosystem by bringing together all parties in the supply chain - including traders, freight forwarders, inland transportation, ports and terminals, ocean carriers, customs, government authorities and others - onto a Blockchain-based platform.

We are actively expanding our team after our recent commercial release of our TradeLens solution. This is your opportunity to join the team ahead of the network becoming a fully open platform, whereby all players involved in global shipping transactions will be provided with end-to-end supply chain visibility that enables them to securely and seamlessly exchange shipment events in real time.

As the Client Integration/Onboarding Technical Lead, you will be responsible for the integration/onboarding of Customers and Network Partners onto the industry leading TradeLens platform. You will take full ownership by leading some integration projects and will serve as the Technical Lead supporting larger clients with more complex needs. We are targeting individuals who have direct experience on technical integration projects ideally in the container shipping sector working for ports, carriers, freight forwarders, intermodal and/or BCOs.

Key Responsibilities Lead and drive the integration of the Participant into the TradeLens network and platform

  • Ensure implementation of appropriate electronic data and information flows between Participant and the TradeLens platform

  • Serve as a liaison between the Client and the overall Onboarding team; gather and document business and data mapping requirements for the integration of the Participant's systems into the TradeLens platform

  • Conduct workshops, map business processes, and understand and document client IT system, data, information flow and documentation requirements

  • Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders

  • Support and align efforts to meet client and overall TradeLens needs, and identify improvement opportunities

  • Collaborate closely with the Onboarding team members to implement and test the integration, and provide necessary support to Participant testers during QA process

  • Create and maintain issue logs, meeting minutes, meeting schedules, workshop and project summaries and updates.

  • Create and help maintain project schedules, monitoring milestone completion, tracking all phases of the onboarding lifecycle and providing timely reporting of issues

  • Meet with stakeholders to regularly review Onboarding deliverables and deadlines

  • Manage client relationships and expectations, and execute communications plan

  • Provide leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others; articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers and others

  • Manage Onboarding documentation (e.g. functional requirements, technical specifications, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, future state proposals, UAT plan) and contribute to the Onboarding Methodology refinement

Who we are looking for Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred

  • 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst/ Solution Architect in B2B IT system integration projects

  • Familiar with Shipping Industry & Supply Chain landscape.

  • Strong client service orientation and ability to be credible with senior clients in this area

  • Comfortable with presenting and leading workshops to help clients design solutions

  • Creative and analytical mindset; possesses keen listening skills

  • Creative problem solver, comfortable with ambiguity

  • Able to present and describe technical functionalities to those less-versed in technology; Ease and comfort in presenting to all levels of an organization

  • Proficient in translating business requirements to technical specifications

  • Highly collaborative team player, yet able to function well independently

  • Proficiency with Rest API technologies, XML, JSON, EDI, modern Integration tools e.g APP Connect, Data Analysis/SQL, Business Intelligence tools

  • Travel expectation of up to 50%
