Position Overview
The Technical Integration Manager is part of the Enterprise Applications IT team that supports a broad portfolio of enterprise-wide applications and integrations. This role will serve as the lead integration architect and manager of the integration team. Their preliminary role is to determine integration architecture, coordinate and supervise all operational activities and support project tasks related to the application integrations. They manage and support the integration engineering team, manage third-party vendor's integration resources, and support the IT application strategy and the PMO team as it relates to the integrations.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Organize, coordinate, and manage technical team activities, oversee 3rd party deliverable
Supervise, mentor, and coach direct reports, conduct performance reviews
Provide support to the team to execute organizational goals and deliverables
Develop and refine practices and operational processes of integration management
Oversee operational support, and manage escalations
Conduct design architecture reviews, gap analyses and assessments
Design the integration infrastructure, and build out monitoring and error-handling mechanisms using best practices
Work closely with applications and infrastructure teams to define processes and recommend improvements to ensure optimal performance of the integration platforms
Support PMO activities throughout project/demand prioritization and through all SDLC phases
Provide input on technical dependencies and scalability during the prioritization process
Aid the estimation and planning process, leads evaluating technical level of effort and articulating technical requirements
Consult and provide recommendations during the design phase
Take on project management tasks as needed to augment the PMO team and to support technical delivery
Support CAB process
Participate in planning and developing company-wide IT strategies
Support contract management process
Ensure SLAs are met by vendors of the application domain
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or relevant IT field
TOGAF Certification is preferred
Minimum of 2-3 years experience managing integrations team (on- and offshore) and delivering solutions within defined timeline, scope and budget
Minimum of 5-7 years working as an integration architect in a medium/large scale environment
Demonstrated experience defining technical visions, building roadmaps and writing technology standards
Relevant experience working with various business and technical teams, reviewing options and concepts, making critical decisions, designing enterprise-wide integration solutions based on best practices
Minimum of 5-7 years of recent hands-on experience with Boomi (or other integration tools such as Matillion, Mulesoft, Tibco or Webmethods) administration, integration development, management and monitoring
Demonstrated experience with best practices to scale integration landscape (monitoring, source control, testing, automation, CI/CD of deployments, etc.)
Experience with REST and SOAP web services, JSON
Proficiency with communication protocols including FTP, SFTP, HTTP/S, AS2, VAN
Solid knowledge of API frameworks
Experience with GCP and EDI integration workflows, standards and protocols
Knowledge of configuring and utilizing the infrastructure and platform services in a cloud computing environment
SQL language proficiency with at least one of the common database platforms such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and/or DB2 database management systems
Demonstrated project management experience and background in implementation of multiple integration solutions using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Objective leader, with the ability to make tough decisions and manage delicate situations
Excellent communication skills; Able to effectively present complex technical/integration solutions to different levels of technical and non-technical audience
Collaborative and effective at building consensus across the organization
Background working on cloud-based solution and has vendor management experience is a plus
Strong problem solver, innovative and solution oriented
Can easily adapt to fast paced, constantly changing environment
Retail environment experience is a plus, but not required
