Job Description Job Description New West Technologies wants to add a motivated individual to our technical help desk team. The applicant will need to be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

The individual must also be able to multi-task to assist multiple customers over the phone and via remote desktop control. The candidate must have good communication and documentation skills. If you are energetic, professional, and technically savvy - please apply.

Experience with Microsoft Retail Management Systems, Retail Management Hero, or Microsoft D365 is a huge plus. Microsoft software background and experience are required. Good infrastructure, networking, and server skills are desired, as are any technical certifications such as a current MCP or Network cert.

We seek someone eager to grow with a small company in an energizing work environment. Will be required to be in on-call rotation for additional compensation. Location : Remote/Hybrid Working from home requires 100 Mbps upload internet speed and 10mbps download speed.

Performance must be maintained to work remotely. Individuals will be required to come into the office following introductory training based on needs and managers' requests. Examples include training, all hands-on meetings, and special events.

Skill Requirements: Positive and professional demeanor Ability to build rapport with clients Strong retention of newly learned technical skills Good communication skills, written and verbal Strong analytical skills are a plus Understanding of how technology works in business environments Assess current business needs from a technical perspective and recommend solutions Work over the phone with clients from remote locations to resolve technical problems Provide support for (but not limited to) the following areas: Desktop / Server (hardware/software) Wireless Point of sale (hardware/software) Mobile hardware Microsoft server technologies Routers and firewalls to include Ubiquiti and Sonicwall devices TCP/IP or other standard networking protocols SQL Server databases Customer service and support for incoming calls and walk-ins Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve workstation and network problems Follow established procedures and configurations to build, set up & test technical solutions Keep incident tracking system accurate and up to date Searching and thorough updating of knowledgebase At times, may be requested to perform technical research on new products and solutions.
