Do you want to help build the world's greatest Developer Advocacy team? Alexa is the name of the Amazon cloud service that powers Echo, Echo Dot and Tap - the groundbreaking Amazon devices designed around your voice. Developers around the world are building skills for Alexa customers. The Amazon Alexa skills team is seeking a passionate engineer, who will be responsible for supporting developer coding and implementation issues. In this role, you will be a part of a team of exceptionally driven, customer-obsessed specialists who strive to provide world-class support to Alexa skill developers.

As a Developer Advocate, you will work directly with developers to analyze and resolve issues. You will be interacting with both external developers and internal teams via a number of communication channels to drive solutions that meet developer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide escalation-level debugging and troubleshooting for skill developers

  • Work with developers to understand how they develop for Alexa, and provide feedback to business and development teams to shape features, processes, and systems

  • Conducting deep dive analysis of and provide weekly business reporting on inbound contact activity across developers, identifying patterns and trends

  • Offer consultation to your developer support colleagues and partner with other teams as a subject matter expert in contact topics such Alexa skill certification, payments, and more

  • Reviewing and maintaining technical documentation, plus creating other support materials for developers

  • Driving projects that improve support-related services

He/she must have a demonstrated exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to analyze root causes of inventory problems and provide permanent resolutions negotiate multi-million dollar contracts from a business and technical perspective to procure data center infrastructure. Roles & Responsibilities: * Serve as a key member of the Business Development team in helping to drive overall Infrastructure strategy. * Understand the infrastructure market segments, customer base, and industry verticals. * Work with org leadership to set strategic business development plans for target markets and ensure it's in line with the larger Infrastructure organization strategic direction. * Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks to closing new deals * Drive and improve business operations, ensuring the organization is planning against the set strategy and vision, and enabling senior leadership to produce key operational deliverables while managing their business and teams. * Identify, develop, and deploy mechanisms that establishes a rhythm of the business, support strategic and operational planning, and lead executive reporting on goals and key metrics to keep leadership informed and drive key business decisions. This includes streamlining operational processes, tactical calendaring, reporting and tracking. * Own the onboarding of new hires to Amazon and Business Development Team culture, speeding up learning the organization and being productive in a new role.
