Encompass Health - Home Health & Hospice is searching for an IT Technical Support Analyst to join our growing and dynamic Information Technology team. This is a full time opportunity that will require up to 60%-80% overnight travel.

As the IT Technical Support Analyst, you will be the first point of contact for multiple branch locations in the Eastern United States.

  • Coordinate, setup, and maintain day-to-day support of computer hardware and software, copiers, network, and telephone systems at the Corporate and/or Branch office locations.

  • Monitor and manager Support Queues (ITSM) and support the end users in-person, via telephone, or utilize remote support tools when they have system-related issues.

  • Notify key personnel regarding planned visits to the Branches, including details about arrival time, plans, user requirements, and after the visits are completed document/communicate what was accomplished, and what is left to be done.

  • Maintain documentation of computer hardware and software, copiers, network, and telephone systems (asset management).

  • Adhere by the Corporate and IT policies and procedures.


The right person for this role will be a self-starter with exceptional customer service skills and meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, associate's degree from technical school, or a minimum of two years of related work experience.

  • Experience in Structured Cable installation for both Voice and Data.

  • Experience with Samsung OfficeServ Phone systems is preferred, however knowledge of PBX phone systems in general is a plus.

  • Experience with direct hands-on desktop support (i.e. imaging, hardware/software installs/updates, etc.).

  • Experience with problem determination and resolution.

  • Ability to climb ladders and maneuver in attics and/or crawl spaces when necessary.

  • Ability to troubleshoot network and voice cabling.

  • Ability to diagnose networks, computers, copiers, and phone systems remotely in an efficient and professional manner.

  • Experience managing small to medium-sized technology projects.

  • Customer service experience, including support of end-users.

  • Experience with inventory tracking.

Must have no conflicts that would prevent frequent air travel and/or local travel when a flight is not required. Will use personal vehicle for local travel and will be reimbursed for mileage. For longer drives a rental car can be used and reimbursed.

Key Responsibilities * This role will be client-facing on-site, providing support for Mac and Windows users. This role will provide all aspects of PC support including break/fix, IMAC, application support, AV and printer support. * Hardware break/fix of laptops/Desktops for both Apple and Windows platforms * Troubleshooting of software issues to maintain business continuity * Basic printer support including network or personal connectivity and basic maintenance (toner or paper replacement) * Experience with mobile support a plus (Android/Apple) * Perform new hardware upgrades/installs including data backup/migration in a laptop and desktop environment * Ability to work independently in identifying, resolving and managing customer service requests in order to meet SLAs * Maintaining a professional demeanor at all times in providing outstanding customer service and support to our end user community * Maintains exceptional level of communication and customer service with end-users. * Supports the setup, deployment, repair and troubleshooting of Apple and Windows hardware, printers and accompanying peripherals. * Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex Mac hardware and software issues with a primary focus on security of these devices. * Responsible for enterprise Mac client hardware / software standards and strategy. * Support client OS, application, mobile, virus, and hardware issues for users. * Design, implement, and maintain Mac desktop group policy using JAMF. * Develop automated workflows and technologies to efficiently manage Mac endpoints. * Maintain inventory database, assign hardware and software assets, and manage warranty and service agreement information. * Lead and assist with root cause analysis as it relates to PC/Apple computers and all peripheral devices. * Be available as needed and provide "White Glove" technical support to onsite and remote C-level executives. * Interact with IT vendors and management to ensure solutions are being provided for all escalating tickets. * Independently resolve complex, break/fix issues in person or via telephone. Technical and Behavioral Skills * High School diploma or GED required * Background investigation and drug screen required * 4+ years of experience in a hands-on desk side support role troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving complex Mac/Windows hardware and software issue and in-depth experience working with various versions of the Windows/Mac operating system * Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) * Previous experience with PC/Apple hardware and Mac OS support * Previous experience supporting mobile devices * Previous experience with enterprise ticketing systems * Excellent communication and customer service skills are required * Able to work with little leadership, is proactive and reliable * Experience as an escalation point for L1 techs * Has provided direction or leadership to L1 techs * Experienced working in a corporate and team environment * Experienced working with high level and/or VIP level clients, VIP support experience preferred. * Experienced with current Apple OS (Sierra or newer) – 2 years of support experience * Experienced with Windows 7, Windows 10 and general Microsoft software (MS Office products) * Excellent problem solving skills * Apple Certified System Administrator (ACSA), Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) certifications are a plus. * Experience with Macintosh desktop imaging and distribution platforms such as JAMF, Casper Suite, ARD and Mac mobile device management platforms (such as JAMF Casper Suite) a plus. * Knowledge of Mac endpoint patching platforms and procedures using JAMF Casper Suite a plus. * Strong knowledge of anti-virus platforms, how they work, and their capabilities. * Proven ability to support virtual desktops and applications is a plus (Citrix) * HP desktop/laptop certifications are a plus Unisys Dallas TX
