Boeing Training Systems has an immediate need for a Technical Designer to support the design and modifications of aircraft training systems such as the P-8A, F-15, and AH-64. The Technical Designer will be responsible for the development and documentation of mechanical subsystems and airframes to be used on the aircraft training systems.
Airframe design requirements include, but not limited to:
Subsystems design requirements include, but not limited to:
Cabinetry design for computational equipment.
I/O equipment, video and display equipment.
Aural cue and communication equipment.
Control loading equipment, motion seat equipment, and power equipment.
Additional responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Performing system tests to verify operational and functional requirements.
Assisting suppliers, supporting the resolution of product integration issues and production anomalies.
Researching basic technologies for potential application to company business needs.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Experience using Unigraphics NX.
Five or more years of Computer Aided Design (CAD) seat time in an aerospace environment.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
AA degree in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
