Dixon is looking for a Technical Customer Service Representative to join our team in Chestertown, MD! This person will interface with customers regarding technical aspects of the organization's products or services. Provide problem resolution and troubleshooting to customers over the telephone and assist with product updates. Relay customer feedback regarding products to appropriate individuals in sales, quality assurance, and product management. Determine best method to resolve problems ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to the organization's policies. Provides guidance, training, and instruction to non-technical representatives. Ideal candidates will possess/develop a thorough technical knowledge of assigned products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Providing support to both internal and external customers

  • Responding to email and phone inquiries

  • Accounts receivable functions

  • Manage customer invoicing

  • Assist with special projects as needed

  • Mechanical aptitude

  • Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude

  • Ability to communicate effectively; must be a good listener

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, but have a sense of urgency

  • Ability to resolve customer inquiries efficiently and prioritize requests

The Customer Service Representative will provide superior customer service to both external and internal customers. Responsibilities include entering orders, resolving product or service issues, and following up with customers to ensure their needs were satisfied. Additional responsibilities include accounts receivable functions, customer invoicing, file maintenance, and various special projects as needed. Previous customer service or administrative experience with strong organizational skills preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred.
