As a Technical Curriculum Developer, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of healthcare data engineering and activation, enhancing the accessibility and utility of healthcare data.

Current Need: A Visionary Technical Enabling Professional

We are seeking a Technical Curriculum Developer with a strong data engineering background to lead and inspire our Data Democratization Org. This role is key in advancing our data activation and literacy capabilities, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure data solutions powering our Data and Advanced Analytics practice.

Position Description: Pioneering Data Activation and Fostering Data Literacy and Change Management

In this role as Technical Curriculum Developer, you will:

  • Community Building: Foster a vibrant community of data professionals through engagement initiatives and collaborative projects.

  • Technical Training Curriculum: Design and implement comprehensive technical training programs tailored to various skill levels and roles within the organization.

  • Learning Journeys: Develop structured learning paths that guide employees from foundational knowledge to advanced expertise in data engineering and analytics.

  • Teaching/Audience Engagement: Lead workshops, webinars, and training sessions to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Leadership Coaching: Provide mentorship and coaching to emerging leaders within the data organization, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

  • Content Creation: Produce short-form videos and bite-sized content that deliver key insights and best practices in an accessible format.

  • Best Practices for DAAA/MMS Tech Stack: Define and promote best practices for utilizing the DAAA (Data and Advanced Analytics) and MMS (McKesson Medical-Surgical) tech stack.

  • Define ROI: Establish metrics to measure the return on investment (ROI) for data activation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals.

  • Activation and Engagement Metrics: Track and report on activation metrics, engagement metrics, and brand awareness to gauge the impact of data initiatives.

  • Real-Time Use Cases: Develop and showcase real-time use cases that demonstrate the practical applications of data engineering and analytics in healthcare.

  • Self-Service Data Products: Drive the creation and adoption of self-service data products, empowering users to access and utilize data independently.

  • Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure the delivery of high-quality training and data solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field .

  • Extensive experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and IT project management.

  • Proven track record of building and leading technical training programs and communities

  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies, data engineering best practices, and API development.

  • Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills for effective knowledge transfer and skill development.

  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning development tools.

  • Ability to collaborate with technical subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to develop training content.

  • A collaborative and innovative approach, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and cross-functional cooperation.

Community Building Leader:

  • Demonstrated experience in fostering and leading professional communities, both online and in-person.

  • Ability to create and maintain engagement through innovative community initiatives.

  • Strong networking skills to connect with professionals at various levels and facilitate knowledge sharing.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Understanding of data analytics concepts and the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams.

  • Familiarity with coding languages like Python and Java, with the ability to understand and explain technical concepts.

  • Experience in developing and delivering technical training content and leading workshops or training sessions.
