About the Role

We are looking for a Product Marketer/Content Specialist to produce internal and external facing content assets, that contribute to the overall success of our sales team. You will join a team of talented individuals who work collaboratively with sales, product managers, and subject matter experts to help accelerate our sales cycle.


  • Develops a thorough understanding of the audience and the content assets required by meeting with appropriate stakeholders

  • Research and build knowledge about our products, services, and technology

  • Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for an external and internal reader to easily consume and comprehend

  • Works with our creative team to create graphics and illustrations to elaborate on or complement technical concepts

  • Meets with subject matter experts in order to ensure that specialized topics are appropriately addressed and discussed

  • Collaborates with translators as necessary to convert writing into a variety of languages

  • Revises, edits, or updates content assets with product updates as necessary

  • Creates, adapts, and follows project schedules and deadlines

  • Remains up-to-date on technological and product developments

  • Attends conferences and trade shows pertinent to the APM industry


  • 5 + years proven working experience in product marketing and technical writing for software.

  • Excellent grammar, punctuation, and formatting skills

  • You thrive in an agile work environment that requires flexibility and self-direction

  • You are well organized, manage your time well, and are attentive to detail, meeting deadlines and juggling priorities

  • You have the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easy to comprehend

  • Bachelor's Degree

This individual will lead a large team to provide insights and reporting products to the bank's Consumer Lending organization, and he/she will feel at ease training and growing teams to query databases, integrate data from multiple/disparate sources, conducting quantitative analyses, and build reporting and BI solutions that support the needs of the business. The ideal candidate will be a motivated professional who is passionate about data and data visualization. He/she must have strong technical and analytical experience, the ability to engage deeply with clients as a partner and advisor, and demonstrated experience growing and coaching analytics talent. This individual should possess a strong willingness to lead, learn, teach, and adapt to change. In addition to consulting with senior leaders and monitoring business performance, this leader will advise and engage the long-term evolution of U.S. Bank's data environment toward more meaningful and actionable analytics and reporting, including a near-term migration of a major system of record. The ability to quickly understand and articulate the needs of both reporting and other teams (and partner with others to ensure clear lines of communication) will be critical to success in this role. Preferred work location: Minneapolis/Hopkins, St. Louis, Cincinnati or San Francisco Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as econometrics, computer science, engineering or applied mathematics, or equivalent work experience * Eight or more years of statistics or analytics experience Preferred Skills/Experience * Seven to ten years of analytics and/or reporting experience * Seven to ten years of experience in consumer finance, especially in consumer lending * Experience working directly with clients or partners to understand needs and deliver work * Demonstrated project and priority management and organization skills * Demonstrated experience deriving actionable business outcomes using data and reporting * Proficiency in analytics tools and techniques to perform analysis and interpret data – some examples are: SQL, SAS, Python, Excel, Alteryx, etc. * Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Power BI or Tableau * Cross-functional partnership and leadership experience guiding technology or data implementations * Communicating insights to partners and clients using PowerPoint or other tools * Demonstrated ability to influence change across a complex organization * Advanced degree attainment US Bank San Francisco CA
