Technical Consultant

Provide technology expertise and guidance to Business Applications professionals, remaining current with emerging technologies and industry best practices. Lead the evaluation of new technologies, define the feasibility of their integration, and develop an implementation plan.

The Technical Consultant provides technical advice on development software, system software platforms, hardware platform technologies, and productivity, management and control products. In addition, the Technical Consultant will work with Quality Assurance and other IT functional areas to recommend the creation and assimilation of methodologies across the entire systems development life cycle. Participate in the decision making process with all levels of Business Applications staff and management, as well as on project teams and make recommendations to effect change.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor's Degree or professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, or equivalent, related experience.

Experience: 8 or more years - or Bachelor's Degree equivalent plus 10 or more years.

Knowledge:
Advanced knowledge of practices within field.

Integrates and evaluates new advancements in industry, concepts, techniques and standards to contribute to successful business results. Considered an expert in the field within the organization.

Decision Making: Makes decisions using broad management limits.

Applies guidelines and procedures that leave considerable room for discretion and interpretation. Decisions directly influence project, client relationships and or expenditures. Additionally, decisions exert some influence on organization's long-range goals and objectives. Participates in determining objectives of assignments.

Supervision Received:Works independently under general supervision. Work is reviewed for overall adequacy in meeting objectives.

Leadership: Plans, allocates the activities of project teams. Provides training and guidance to less experienced staff.

Problem Solving /Operations/Direct Work Involvement: Develops solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of innovation.

Ensures that solutions are effective in meeting organizational objectives. Questions problem definition to address underlying issues.

Client Contacts: Manages internal and external relationships.

Represents organization as prime contact for projects and other necessary communications. Interaction may include senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring complex coordination between organizations. Communication involves persuasion and negotiation, as applicable. Seeks ways of improving client service.

Proven analytical, decision making, and problem solving abilities.

Proven ability to recommend complex technology solutions, frequently involving unfamiliar platforms and systems.

Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts, both written and verbally.

Proven ability to perform in a consulting role on the application, integration, and implementation of technologies.

Proven ability to lead teams and/or coach individuals from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience.

Experience with the company development platforms preferred.

General understanding of project management fundamentals and working knowledge of System Development Methodology.

Proven ability to provide accurate estimates.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, both written and verbally.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Excellent listening, negotiating and influencing skills.

Able to manage group dynamics, facilitate effective team interaction and negotiate effectively.

Able to multi-task, manage details, and execute effective follow-through.

Proficiency in the use of desktop applications.

Demonstrated dependability in a highly dynamic environment.

We are looking for happy, hard-working people who are quick on their feet, passionate, and LOVE customer service to deliver treats to our customers! Job Summary: The Shift Leader position is Part Time, and shifts are on Saturdays and Sundays. Delivery driver and/or kitchen shifts are available during the week for those interested in 30+ hours/week. This position is at our Webster, TX location, opening soon! Shift Leaders earn $15 / hour. The primary responsibility of a Shift Leader is to manage operations of their store in Tiff's Treat's delivery of the Top five, with a primary focus on weekends. The Shift Leader will ensure that customers experience our industry-leading Tiff's Treatment customer service. Shift Leaders execute store operations with accuracy and timeliness to help us deliver "warm cookie moments." Shift Leaders are responsible for store operations during weekend shifts, including, but not limited to, managing staff, assisting customers, maintaining a clean store, and running an organized shift. Responsibilities and Requirements: * Performs all duties of kitchen and delivery driver * Must have excellent phone etiquette * Ability to manages a staff of approximately 3 to 10 employees * Ability to resolve customer complaints * Assigns, oversees, and evaluates work of staff * Provides on-the-job training for new employees * Assists in the supervision of the preparation, sales, and service of product * Assists in greeting customers, taking orders, using the register, assembling order, and checking for completeness and correctness * Ensures that every customer receives Tiff's Treatment in person and on the phone * Routes deliveries and serves drivers to maximize delivery business and speed * Completes closing procedures * Executes systems and procedures with 100% integrity and completeness * Completes daily paperwork * Audits previous shift's systems and procedures for 100% integrity and completeness * Maintains a positive, can-do attitude with the team and reserves critiques and concerns for conversations with leadership * Must be an excellent communicator and be available and approachable for conversations with team members or team leaders * Must have exceptional problem-solving skills, work ethic, and ability to handle stress * Must have the ability to learn quickly * Proactively stocks supplies and manages inventory * Actively provides Tiff's Treatment to customers during every shift and expects the same from all team members * Must be punctual and demonstrate outstanding attendance * Must maintain composure during high-volume rushes as a positive example for the team * Must be self-motivated and willing to take initiative Summary of Experience and Qualifications: * Customer service experience in a fast-paced, food service, restaurant, or retail environment—preferably nine months or more * Flexible availability, specifically on weekends and on holidays * Shift lead and/or leadership experience, preferred Tiff's Treats Tips & Tidbits: * We provide a generous contribution toward the cost of medical and dental insurance for eligible employees and their dependents, making it very affordable!
