Responsible for managing the day-to-day administration for SAN and storage environments, including:

  • Collaborate with Customer's storage support teams

  • Participate in problem solving and troubleshooting for the assigned task(s), functional area(s) or project(s)

  • Support the design, operation, workflow and issue resolution for the storage infrastructure

  • Help maintain systems-level maintenance for storage infrastructure

  • Responsible for tracking existing storage usage trending and capacity planning for future growth

  • Maintain storage documentation, procedures, and reporting

  • Provide Storage Area Network Configuration and Administration

  • Storage Allocations to server infrastructure

  • Manage infrastructure events

  • Capacity Management

  • Monitor storage subsystem and SAN switch capacity

  • Perform capacity analysis; analyze performance data and trends

  • Responsible for tracking existing storage usage trending and capacity planning for future growth

  • Problem resolution

  • Problem diagnosis, resolution, and documentation

  • Perform Incident resolution

  • Investigate and diagnose the raised problem(s) or problem records for root cause analysis

  • Perform necessary storage infrastructure maintenance in accordance with best practices and Company change management policies

  • Perform host-level tasks as requested to access the new storage

  • Interface with assigned Data Systems storage engineers to manage the implementation of all additional storage infrastructure and storage services

  • Technical design, implementation, and/or migration activities related to Customer's environment

  • Customer Service and Support Services including Break/fixes, installations, de-installations, equipment relocation, hardware configuration, onsite maintenance, and other billable services

  • Projects or equipment installations resulting from the acquisition of hardware or software

  • Host or application administration, configuration, or support tasks

  • Installation, configuration, and support of electrical, network, telecommunications, and cabling infrastructure and components

  • Database analysis or related work (Oracle, SAP, etc.)

  • Operating system changes or related work (UNIX or Microsoft Windows)

$60 per Hour New York, NY 10178 6 Month Assignment

Focus on opportunities for using technology to improve the customer/client experience and facilitate business process and or automation. Understands current and future technology capabilities and assists in facilitating technology roadmaps to meet the needs for business and operations. The Role * Engage the business to align on activities to deliver technology capabilities to support CRB priorities. * Coordinate solutioning activities with the appropriate depts. such as architecture, information management, application development and program delivery. * Consider the short-term needs/implications with long-term needs and implications of various decisions * Assists in the due diligence process for the IT facets of proposed proof of concepts, vendor supplied solutions, mergers and acquisitions * Ensure that all preparatory work is completed to enable the programs to be authorized. Scope to be well defined, cost case complete, risks identified and mitigated and all necessary resources and skills identified. * Managing the creation of mandates and business cases for proposed projects that will be delivered, reviewed and potentially approved by the appropriate Steer Co. * Promotes the adoption of the technology capabilities within CRB The Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology a plus or related field is required. Master's degree in related field is preferred. * 10+ years of experience in technology solutioning or business relationship management functions preferably in financial services or Insurance industry. * Experience in engaging, managing and influencing business partners in a non-hierarchical environment * People and relationship management capabilities with good analytical and technical skills * Ability to translate business needs into high level technology options/solutions. * Experienced in managing the evaluation of both external and internal technology and platform capabilities to meet business and operational needs. * Ability to engage in multiple pipeline initiatives simultaneously.
