SUMMARY

Under general direction, functions as technical consultant and liaison between CDS Global and our clients. Consults with clients on the CDS Global Core product. Advises clients on technical and programming questions regarding the CDS Global Core product. Consults and collaborates with Client Services staff, clients, and other internal staff on the CDS Global Core product. Maintains communications, coordination, promotion, and operational contact with our clients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Maintains confidentiality of CDS Global and its clients' proprietary information.

  • Functions as technical consultant and liaison between CDS Global and our clients. Consults with clients on the CDS Global Core product.

  • Advises clients and client advisors on technical and programming questions regarding the CDS Global Core product. Consults and collaborates with Client Services staff, clients, and other internal staff on the CDS Global Core product.

  • Maintains communications, coordination, promotion, and operational contact with our clients. Manages assigned responsibilities related to the Core Product for the account(s) to fulfill client requirements utilizing established departmental procedures.

  • Proactively identifies, defines, and guides others in resolution on complex problems, issues and resolutions, and solutions having impact on client business or CDS Global system & processes.

  • Executes clients' business needs while integrating complex systems and processes both internally and externally.

  • Shares, recognizes and supports product utilization opportunities of assigned client. Regularly attends product meetings to relevant systems/solutions related to assigned client and business. Applies gained insight into business, team, system and process knowledge build.

  • Develops and maintains an understanding of products, systems, processes, or integrations. Moderate account, system, process or integration complexity. Utilizes technical support on advanced issues and projects only.

  • Proactively identifies, defines, and solves complex problems or issues with resolutions and solutions that have impact on business or organization.

  • May support onboarding projects and tasks of new and diversified clients. Researches, supports and leads client projects independently.

  • Executes clients' instructions within CDS Global technical systems to achieve desired results.

  • Monitors assigned accounts to analyze, troubleshoot, problem solve, and plan for clients future business needs.

  • Invoice client according to contract specifications.

  • Acquires and maintains comprehensive knowledge of applicable CDS Global systems, divisions and/or department's capabilities, operations and limitations.

  • Acquires and maintains a solid understanding of client business, financials, products, services, and the market strategies of assigned accounts and CDS Global. Recommends process improvements and strategies for assigned accounts. May research and prepare supporting contract renewal information.

  • May formally mentor or train new and/or existing staff and clients.

  • Participates and contributes to department projects.

  • Actively monitors operational and business support for understanding, knowledge share, insight, activity, and perspective on assigned accounts.

  • Serves as a best practice, quality resource, and/or technical expert on functional teams and projects.

  • Interacts in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of employees, clients and/or vendors in team oriented environment.

  • Maintains a positive, professional working relationship between CDS Global and our clients.

  • Organizes tasks and resources to complete assignments and/or projects and meet deadlines according to established departmental procedures.

  • Continually learns and applies new information in fast-paced, dynamic technical environment.

  • Researches, participates in and leads new projects within department.

  • Provides assistance to other team members and departments as needed.

  • Follows all CDS Global ergonomic and safety policies.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attends training and/or onsite classes as required.

  • Focus on process improvement for assigned accounts.

  • Mentors other employees as needed.

  • Performs additional duties as required or requested.

  • Document client specific processes for future reference.

EDUCATION AND/OR CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND LICENSING

  • Four-year degree or equivalent fulfillment industry or related work experience, or a combination of college and fulfillment industry related work experience.

  • Two years or more of client manager, or comparable role experience.

  • Demonstrated experience learning complex systems and processes.

  • Project management skills.

  • Analytical, problem solving and issue resolution skills.

  • Leadership skills. Experience mentoring and training clients and/or staff.

  • Advanced PC knowledge and skills.

  • Above average math skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrates advanced active listening and inquisitions skills. Proven ability to identify key considerations, objectives, and recommend and execute manageable, sustainable solutions as related to clients business and all projects.

  • Excellent presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated experience communicating technical information to non-technical individuals.

  • If required to travel, has access to transportation requiring a valid driver's license, proof of safe driving record, and active insurance.

Experience with SQL or C# is a plus
