We are currently seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join our team in Montgomery, Alabama (US-AL), United States (US).

Responsibilities Include:

  • The Enterprise Architect Analyst will play a key role in the successful implementation and adoption of large health care system implementations/enhancements.

  • The Enterprise Architect Analyst will provide consulting services in support of the procurement, design, development, and implementation of a MMIS system

  • Responsible for research, collecting and assisting in the EA analysis

  • Research, analyze and document EA process and procedures

  • Support project research to identify and evaluate emerging technologies

  • Translate technical and/or complicated information into clear concise artifacts that can be understood by executive management

  • Provide subject matter expertise on Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) (planning, implementation, operation)

  • Participate in requirements sessions, procurement development, integrated delivery management and other sessions as appropriate

  • Review deliverables and other work products as they relate to technology, application and/or data architecture

  • Identify risks, issues and/or action items related to architecture, alert the management/executive team to these concerns, and help identify and implement resolutions or mitigation approaches

  • As needed, help identify and procure services of contractor architecture experts to support specific project activities

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of IT experience in architecture modeling, design, systems analysis and development

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with large or multi-vendor projects

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a technical writer/quality assurance/business analyst

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or similar field or equivalent work experience.

  • 25-50% onsite requirement, prefer local candidate

Requested Qualifications:

  • Exposure to health care or human services industry domain

  • Experience with state IT system procurement process

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build client rapport and develop/discipline/reward employees

This position will provide support for the administration, installation and maintenance of ALDOT software. Duties and Responsibilities: * Quality assurance services for new and existing ALDOT software systems. Examples include systems for Construction, Pre-construction, Finance, and Materials and Tests functions. * Collaborate with users to analyze problems and opportunities for efficiencies; understand their goals and initiatives and help transform them into solutions. * Serve as a functional expert resource to internal clients within ALDOT by providing proactive guidance in supported applications. * Actively participate in discovery, defects analysis, requirements gathering, and program development sessions. * Stage test data, coordinate with, or supply developers the structure to implement functional changes or conduct beta testing. * Create and execute test scenarios to test and evaluate web-based application enhancements or defects, and to provide proof of concept of the technical specifications to provide confidence in the product's suitability for release to the customer. * Create and execute test scenarios to conduct interface partner testing and validation of enhancements or defects with the Construction and Materials Management System (CAMMS), the Comprehensive Project Management System (CPMS) and AASHTOW are Project Preconstruction system to verify compliance with requirements, processes, and procedures. * Develop presentation and training documents, including live video streaming training sessions. * Develop design documents for stakeholders to implement policies and procedures. * Liaison between developers and customers to assist in clarifying customer wants and needs. Minimum Qualifications Applicants may qualify with any one of the following combinations of education and experience: One year of college course work (30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, Software Engineering course work plus 2 or more years of the required QA experience, or without college course work, must have 3 or more years of the required QA experience, and have working knowledge of issue tracking systems and developer tools required to perform job functions, such as the Microsoft Office Product Suite (Outlook, Visio, Word, Excel, etc.); DevOps, Microsoft Test Manager, SQL Developer, Test Complete and Toad for Oracle products.
