Technical Business Analyst

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional work experience with complex CRM/relational databases (non-profit or Slate experience a plus);

• Advanced proficiency with CRM/higher education software platforms, including a deep understanding of key CRM architectural concepts, and how they influence design decisions and the development approach;

• Experience with one-on-one and group training presentations;

• Demonstrated aptitude for analyzing and interpreting data;

• Experience with project management (especially with enterprise software systems) and developing and implementing business processes and procedures;

• Experience in implementing software solutions;

• Experience with Ellucian Banner a plus;

• Experience with SQL, reporting solutions (ie: Evisions Argos, Crystal Reports, etc) and Excel for data manipulation and complex custom reports.

Job Specific Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with an information systems, computer programming, or data analysis focus, or an equivalent combination of qualifications and extensive applicable experience;

• Experience managing core information systems delivery and support across a range of user capabilities and needs;

• Experience coordinating vendor and internal teams to deliver the full project lifecycle - from design through to implementation - for large-scale cross-functional projects;

• Energetic, self-motivated candidate with high productivity, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines;

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with team members, internal customers, high-level staff and external vendors, strong customer service orientation, good writing skills, ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical audiences.

• Utilize knowledge of complex CRM/relational databases and software platforms, including understanding of key CRM architectural concepts, in approach of design decisions and development;

• Coordinating vendor and internal teams to deliver the full project lifecycle - from design through to implementation - for large-scale cross-functional projects; utilizes project management and Agile delivery model concepts in developing and implementing business and technical processes and procedures.

Percent of total time 35 Duties

• Manage and grow core information systems delivery and support across a range of user capabilities and needs.

Percent of total time 25 Duties

• Troubleshoot and analyze CRM issues.

• Serve as the liaison between I.T. and the business unit(s).

• Train end users on the CRM tool and new functionality.

Percent of total time 15 Duties

• Delivers custom reports utilizing appropriate tools such as SQL, CRM reporting solutions, and Excel for data manipulation and complex custom reports; Demonstrated aptitude for analyzing and interpreting data; implementing business intelligence and data warehouse solutions.
