The IT Technical Business Analyst is a key member of the Product Development function within the Personalization/Digital Business Unit. You will be responsible for assisting in managing the product development lifecycle, developing detailed technical requirements and completing functional specifications for CPI's Digital Software Development team. You will interface with the technical team to ensure features you have defined are developed, tested, and deployed to specification. You will also support roadmap planning and providing technical expertise to assist with long-term conversations around the product(s) you support. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy with incredible attention to detail, foresight and the drive to make internal and external customer's vision a reality.

The IT Technical Business Analyst will perform a variety of activities in one or more of the following and/or related areas:

  • Write functional specifications including requirements and detailed user cases and storyboards for new product features.

  • Transform internal and external customer requirements into user stories and wireframes.

  • Work with business stakeholders and technology management to develop and maintain an 18-month roadmap of established priorities; working to build out detail of each component in preparation for and ahead of development.

  • Own and drive backlog grooming and management; prioritize user stories, create acceptance criteria, and drive delivery.

  • Ensure solution design and functional requirements for product features are aligned by working with stakeholders (internal and external) as needed.

  • Collaborate with product engineering team to determine solutions priorities, plan releases, and maintain related roadmaps.

  • Work closely with product marketing team to effectively communicate upcoming releases (what, when, how to use) to internal and external teams (end users, channel partners, internal support teams).

  • Work with management to define new market opportunities for the product in the form of Market Requirements Documents, build business cases, and have the ability to translate those needs into an actionable project plan from conception through launch.

  • Support RFI processes hardware/software requirements.

  • Work with Clients and Operations to translate business requirements into working functional requirements that development can act on.

  • Be the internal facing SME on the products you support.

  • Work closely with senior leadership to develop the strategy for new markets and verticals.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 4 or more years' experience in a business analyst role

  • Experience working with digital products

  • Experience in Financial or Card Services products preferred

Performs limited fiscal related duties as well. The anticipated hiring range for this posting is $19.73 - $24.67 per hour, dependent on candidate qualifications. Duties * Responds to requests and questions from the public both in person and on the phone, answering questions, taking messages and referring to other departments or organizations in the community. * Serves as the Travel Coordinator for the department. Makes travel arrangements for department employees. Reconciles post-travel reimbursement forms. Updates department travel training curriculum and facilitates staff trainings. * Files and organizes department personnel files, including a variety of documents, to include sensitive and confidential information and updating department organization charts. * Serves as the liaison for the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District Cultural Council (SCFD), performing various clerical and administrative duties for the SCFD. This includes accepting grant applications, contacting council members, ordering name badges, coordination of annual check ceremony, etc. * Receives US mail and deliveries, date stamps and distributes to division staff and other departments in the Arapahoe Plaza 1690 building. * Works with Fiscal Clerks to assist in the weekly accounts payable check run processing and enters A/D Works! gas vouchers into Excel on a regular basis. * Enters department contracts and agreements into the contract management system and routes and tracks as necessary. * Performs a variety of typing and word processing functions, including correspondence, memoranda, forms, letters, reports and other documents as needed. * Performs a variety of duties using various types of office machinery to include: computer, multi-function devices, scanner and shredders. * Serves as the coordinator for the department continuity of operations (COOP) plan, performing a variety of duties associated with updating and maintaining the plan, emergency TO GO kits and table top exercises. * Serves as the department Administrator for the Arapahoe Learns system. * Uses purchasing card to purchase supplies for office and other divisions. * Writes checks for the Arapahoe County Foundation. * Develops written business practices/procedures for all job duties and updates as needed. * Takes and transcribes meeting minutes for the Community Services Block Grant Advisory Board, Arapahoe County Foundation, and various departmental staff meetings, and forwards copies of minutes to interested parties. * Performs other duties as required and assigned. SKILLS AND ABILITIES: * Thorough knowledge of basic office methods and procedures, spelling, punctuation and grammar, word processing and spreadsheets, as well as standard office equipment and performing a wide range of supportive clerical tasks. * Thorough knowledge of department guidelines and procedures. * Ability to prepare correspondence on routine matters and perform routine office organization skills independently. * Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. * Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, coworkers and the general public.
