The Corporate Systems technology team delivers technology solutions for corporate functions globally and has an opening for a Senior Technical Business Analyst in Austin, TX. As a member of the technology department, you will work with business partners and other technology teams to help implement the technical product vision for several departments at Dimensional, including Compliance, Corporate Services, Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, and Legal.
Assist in establishing and managing the software product backlog.
Collaborate with business users and technology staff to define requirements, producing robust business/functional requirements documentation and/or user stories.
Assist with production support and develop new stories to enhance product capabilities.
Assist in sprint planning to include story readiness, success criteria, Agile team resource availability, and business coordination.
Assist with code deployment and other technical updates through Dimensional's change management process.
Work within an agile scrum team to successfully deliver software solutions; this role may also be responsible for direct scrum master assistance to the team.
Serve as technology product owner for a subset of systems or services that support the client departments.
Engage with third-party vendors and assist internal stakeholders (business leaders, security, architecture, etc.) on vendor product assessment, comparison, and selection.
Develop and execute test cases based on acceptance criteria, as well as coordinate testing with business users and software development team.
Reverse engineer existing IT processes and applications
A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
5+ years' experience working as a technical product owner, business analyst, or agile scrum team member delivering software solutions.
Prior experience driving or facilitating client engagement sessions.
Experience working with cross-functional agile scrum teams with a software development focus.
Strong prioritization and organizational skills, including the ability to maintain several concurrent activities while managing user expectations
Experience with QA testing (manual and/or automated).
Experience following structured enterprise change management protocols.
PMI (ACP or PMP) and/or Scrum Alliance (ScrumMaster or Product Owner) certification(s) are a plus.
Off-the-shelf (COTS) product selection and vendor engagement/management is a plus.
