Within the Claims Department you will have the opportunity to work side by side with experienced professionals who deliver the highest-quality services to our customers, helping them live safer, more secure lives.
1.Gathers and organizes data needed by obtain information from systems, files, intranet and/or by contacting other people inside or outside the Company.
2.Reviews and verifies information which may include source documents, policies, claims files, summons & complaints, salary data, etc. Ensures completion and accuracy of data, paperwork, and/or forms.
3.Coordinates materials or special projects for staff which may include preparing material/reports, distributing, editing, formatting and proofreading material.
4.Maintains records and data which may include entering intodatabases/servers, developing tracking systems/spreadsheets, setting up files, etc. Ensures accuracy of information and runs reports as needed.
5.Acts as a technical resource for internal and external customers/contacts by providing answers to routine inquiries and coordinating responses; resolving problems and/or discrepancies which may involve research and data collection.
6.Provides administrative support to technical staff which may include: creating documents, forms, spreadsheets, presentation material, etc.; reviewing incoming mail and determining course of action; preparing and sending out form letters.

Qualifications:

Ability to communicate well by listening actively and sharing clear and appropriately detailed information with those who need it. Ability to effectively plan and organize work to ensure that work is completed within specified time and quality parameters.

Ability to deliver quality customer service using standard practices. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel and Word as normally acquired through a high school degree or equivalent, plus at least 3 years of related administrative office work experience. General knowledge of the department's operations and objectives desirable.

We currently have an exciting position open for a Commercial Property & Casualty Account Manager and integral member of the service team to help grow our Plano, TX office. The ideal candidate is a motivated insurance professional with 3-5 years of middle market to large Texas P&C expertise. The Account Manager is part of the client team that delivers consistent Service Excellence. Primary responsibilities include: * Collaborates in the development of a marketing plan to include creation of insurance specifications. * Negotiates with underwriters on behalf of our clients to develop the best program. * Creates insurance proposal to compare competitive insurance program options. * Accurately prepares, processes, reviews and monitors various documents such as certificates of insurance, Auto ID cards, binders and Summary of Insurance, audits, endorsements, renewal information request forms, insurance specifications, proposals, etc. Ensures policies follow coverages as quoted, proposed and bound. * Collects and analyzes client specification data, including Schedules of Values. * Promptly responds to routine requests for data and questions from clients, underwriters and internal staff. * Completes premium finance agreement requests and creates premium allocations as needed. Verifies accuracy of invoicing and handles accounting issues. * Summarizes loss runs. * Online rating programs including Citizens, NFIP, Zurich, Travelers, Hartford etc. * Assists with new account development, including review of the account to explore possibility of uninsured or underinsured exposures. * Will client face and attend new prospect meetings where necessary as an integral part of the sales process representing the service team and value provided. Required Skills * Middle market to large TX P&C expertise * P&C License * Strong oral and written communication skills with a proven commitment to high quality customer service. * Strong attention to detail. * Strong time management skills and the ability to evaluate and prioritize multiple projects/tasks to maximize the number of internal and external clients that can be assisted while maintaining a high level of customer service. * Demonstrates a sense of urgency and a proactive approach to meeting service requirements. * Good keyboard and PC skills using word processing and spreadsheet software, familiarity with various software applications and the ability to learn new software systems. * Ability to work in a team environment that is constantly changing. * Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
