Job Description

Technical Assistant - Process surplussed computer equipment and/or Cyber Security Operations

Primary Responsibilities

To process computer equipment for security purposes. Maintain documentation detailing the completion of the process.

Prepare and troubleshoot equipment for resale. Collecting systems from the different departments on campus.

Maintaining the system used for this process.

Cyber Security Operation, working tickets contained in the Security Consoles.

Qualifications

Ability to communicate effectively, work independently, and accept responsibility.

Must be diligent and on time.

Experience using computers and software, Informatics student, and/or technical Linux server ability desired. Informatics Major a plus.

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

For Cyber Security Operations, basic cyber security knowledge/ degree of study.

Any candidate who is offered this position will be required to go through a pre-employment criminal background check as mandated by state law.

Minimum Education Some College Pay Rate $12/hr
