Job Description:

Prior experience in managing projects in IBM Sterling OMS and Tibco BW CE.

Experience in IBM Sterling OMS, Tibco BW, Tibco BW CE, Java Springboot, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, AWS.

10+ years of relevant experience

Roles and Responsibilities

1: Maintains expertise as SME in a one architecture technical disciplines and define architectural standards and best practices within those disciplines.

2: Interacts with company senior management to effect solutions for enterprise Business requirements.

3: Guide architectural focus group as prime Subject-matter Expert in area of expertise. Mentors Team members on new technologies in area of expertise.

4: Prepares and Maintains documents that include architecture diagrams, data models, and navigation maps in area of expertise.

5: Analyze and prepare recommendations to address existing and potential trouble areas in systems and procedures across the organization as well as Design and recommendation on new solutions both in relation to hardware and software design.

The Data Architect Sr Advisor is responsible for aligning data solutions to business requirements by planning and managing data architecture work. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: * Provides guidance on data architecture principles. * Ensures that Enterprise data architecture principles, standards, guidelines and concepts are integrated with those of allied disciplines and coordinated roll-out and adoption strategies are in place. * Implements programs to achieve competitive advantage. * Oversees enterprise-wide modeling efforts. * Stays apprised of best practices for physical design for at least two major Database Management Systems platforms on the technology tool stack and ensures this knowledge is reflected in work practice documentation. * Ensures cross-team collaborations are in place to support an integrated approach to sharing across technical disciplines. * Independently work with business users, development teams and database administrators to help develop, implement and maintain databases. * Ensures that a governance process is in place to support effective modeling tool usage. * Be a key contributor in the Peer Review process * Ensures Data Architecture work is part of the overall process of developing concepts, defining formal projects, planning and initiation of projects. * Must have experience working with HADOOP or other BIG DATA tools * Ability to support multiple projects. * Experience with Agile Methodologies * Be a change Initiator. Propose and lead change recommendations. * Hands on experience with Power Designer or other related Modeling tools. * Experience working with Teradata, DB2, Oracle and SQL Server * Experience in Big Data ingestion using technologies like IIDR, SQoop, Streamsets, Kafka and file based ingestion. * Experience working with multiple data management technologies like HIVE, Impala, Spark, HBase, Jethro, Kudu and MongoDB. * Experience with AWS products a plus. * Experience with dimensional modelling. * Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies * Strong communication skills Qualifications * Requires a BA/BS degree in related field; 7 years of data management experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. MS/MA degree preferred. * Data modeling experience required.
