Role Description

The TDR Technical Lead is primarily responsible for planning and executing the technical dress rehearsal for all go-lives for the Epic implementation. The TDR Technical Lead is responsible for all components of the technical dress rehearsal and the successful execution of the technical dress rehearsal at each site for every go-live.

Qualifications

Education

Preferred: Master s degree or ten (10) plus years leading technical projects

Minimum: Bachelor s degree or five to seven (5-7) years leading technical projects

Work Experience:

Preferred: Ten (10) years relevant experience providing advanced technical application support

Preferred: Fluency with computing, networking and programming (scripting and high-level languages)

Minimum: Five (5) year relevant experience providing advanced technical application support

Responsibilities

The TDR Technical Lead is primarily responsible for planning and executing the technical dress rehearsal for all go-lives throughout the Epic implementation. The TDR Technical Lead is responsible for the management and coordination of the technical requirements for end-users according to designated application workflows and workplans. In addition to the duties discussed in the Role Description, the TDR Technical Lead is responsible for the following:

  1. Technical Dress Rehearsal Management:

Analyzing and recommending requirements for TDR (Technical Dress Rehearsal)

Designing and documenting TDR approach, including activities, timelines, staffing needs, etc.

Understanding Epic requirements for all end user workstations and devices

Collaborating with Operational Leadership on TDR planning and execution

Architecting, deploying and managing technical dress rehearsals across integrated applications

Setting up and configuring Epic workstations, printers, etc.



  1. Project Management:

Managing the day-to-day operations of the TDR Technical Analyst(s)

Developing detailed TDR project plan for each site

Coordinating with other Leads and teams to ensure all components for the TDR are in place

Tracking and mitigating risks/issues with each TDR

Tracking and aligning changes or updates to technical infrastructure, environment or requirements as identified in the TDR process

Developing status reports to the Project Leadership Team to communicate any changes or updates to technical infrastructure, environment or strategy

Tracking completed deliverables to appropriate stakeholders
