Technical Analyst I

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Performs computer related technical and administrative support. Uses analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues in a cross-functional team environment.

Provides computer related technical guidance and knowledge to users. Does related work as required.

Support Functional area:

Will monitor network backups, perform restores and handle parts, equipment and software deliveries for the department. With emphasis in computer operations, will perform technical work operating computers and monitoring systems performance. Ensures production schedules are met and observes system operations to determine that processes are completed successfully.

Technical Functional area:

Performs technical and administrative work providing support in the installation, maintenance and related inventory control services for microcomputers, peripherals, and other departmental computer resources. Determines proper hardware configurations of Operating Systems and software packages. Troubleshoots and replaces non-functioning parts on microcomputers and peripherals.
