A role you will love:

As a Technical Analyst, you'll be part of a cross-functional Agile delivery team which creates customer-oriented solutions aligned to the overall Computershare and Technology strategy and values. You will perform technical analysis and administrative tasks to assist with the enhancement and maintenance of applications managed by the Originations team.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Looking at industry trends and customer feedback to brainstorm new features

  • Obtaining appropriate buy-in for difficult decisions and solving complex issues, especially when there is not agreement among stakeholders, knowing how to negotiate and when necessary to escalate to leadership

  • Effectively manage risks associated with projects and the scrum team

  • Ensure the craftsmanship, security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions developed by the teams or third-party providers

  • Identify and recommend opportunities for developing product functional and technical strategies for the domains, as well as the development of actionable short and long-term product roadmaps, by partnering with business product managers, lead systems architects, and engineers

  • Providing informal guidance and sharing knowledge with colleagues to enable them to contribute to the team's objectives

  • Supporting the evaluation and resolution of technical challenges and blockers to minimize their impact on the team's delivery and supported products

  • Identifying and supporting improvements and innovation in technologies and practices within your team that would benefit the business e.g., efficiency in the software development process or improved customer experience

  • Communicating effectively with a variety of technical and non-technical audiences to share knowledge and ideas; provide updates; influence; challenge; and take on feedback

What will you bring to the role?

We are looking for someone who has a true passion and commitment to learning and development in the field of technical analysis. As a team that values collaboration and idea sharing, we will look to you to contribute to design decisions and to leverage your solid creative and strategic thinking skills.

You will also bring:

  • A minimum of 2 years of Technical Analyst experience, or equivalent, including experience in writing technical design documents

  • Proven ability to manage process discovery, process modeling, and process improvement activities

  • Agile and ADO experience in large, regulated organizations

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales

  • Degree in Computer Science / IT, or related discipline

  • Relevant Technical Analysis courses, certifications, or qualifications

  • Transformative mindset with understanding of application integration, microservices and resiliency design principles

  • Proven experience utilizing SDLC tools such as Git, ADO, Jira, etc.

  • Experience in public, private or hybrid cloud migration such as Azure or OpenShift

  • Knowledge and understanding of application lifecycle, from design and development to testing, implementation and production support
