Position Summary The Technical Aide is a valued member of a health care team, assisting the radiologic technologist with patients during the imaging process providing comprehensive care and support to make the radiology experience both pleasant and efficient. Core Responsibilities# # # #Acts as a liaison between the patient, technologist, nurse and/or physician. # # #Assists in transporting patients to and from patient care units to radiology when necessary, as directed by Manager # # #Assists in the transfer of patients to and from stretchers and wheelchairs to exam table. # # #Changes patients as directed by technologist for procedures. # # #Assists with mobility of patients on table. # # #Provides clerical support to film room and front office, as necessary. # # #Answers telephone calls and takes messages, as required. Minimum Requirements # # #High School Graduate/GED / Equivalent Work Experience # # #Previous patient care experience# # # #BLS certification through American Heart Association # # #Intermediate computer skills, excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills # # #Must be able to walk and stand or extended periods with the ability to lift, push and pull # Additional information # # #To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimum Requirements

  • High School Graduate/GED / Equivalent Work Experience

  • Previous patient care experience

  • BLS certification through American Heart Association

  • Intermediate computer skills, excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills

  • Must be able to walk and stand or extended periods with the ability to lift, push and pull
