What you'll be doing...
As our Technical Advisor, you will be responsible for technical and engineering support for the Verizon suite and products and services proposed to the Client.
Propose new technology solutions and offerings.
Evaluate new technology alternatives.
Recommend capacity management processes.
Develop plans to address recurring issues with problem management.
Oversee new technology deployments.
Develop service performance measurements.
Project Manage technical and engineering projects as assigned.
Work with MSI PMO and Verizon technical leads on the technical and engineering activities, issues, projects.
Configuration Management solution in coordination with the MSI PMO, and Verizon third party partners.
Facilitate and participate in Technology Replenish and Refresh Program associated with the Verizon suite of products and services.
Manage a team within the PMO to oversee Service Delivery, including In-Flight Project Managers, Change Manager, and Order Manager.
What we're looking for...
You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Even better if you have:
Bachelor's degree in information systems or engineering.
Experience in Change and Project Management.
Demonstrated capability to successfully create and manage programs for infrastructure lifecycle processes such as capacity, availability, configuration management, and access management.
Experience with Service Now toolset.
Experience in managing people.
Experience in customer facing positions.
Knowledge and experience with ITIL including practical application of ITIL processes. Ideally, with ITIL v3 Foundation Level certification or higher.
Excellent communication skills; ability to deliver executive level presentations.
Knowledge of Telecom including Voice and Data Networks, LANs and wireless.
Ability to identify problems, analyze and provide solutions.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications.
Excellent abilities in coordinating multiple projects across multiple organizations.
