Technical Account Manager

As a Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for the Technical Account Management of a portfolio of clients.

This role is a largely client-facing role which requires you to work on both strategic long term and short-term plans and projects. You will need to build strong relationships with clients on various levels as well as acquire thorough knowledge about their business. You will need to present technical solutions to non-technical people as well as developers.

The Basics

  • Manage a portfolio of clients

  • Build strong and positive relationships with clients at various levels

  • Build and document knowledge about the client's business and technical setup

  • Actively play a part in ensuring financial targets are reached

  • Log any bugs or feature requests in the bug and feature handling system

  • Build strong relationships with Client Services team members

  • Ensure client's support tickets are resolved in a fast and professional manner and comply to agreed Service Level Agreements.

  • Feedback any important client information to Client Services Team

  • Identify any training/knowledge needs for clients and colleagues

  • Prepare and perform training of clients and colleagues

Project Management

  • Be responsible for undertaking project work across the team as required participation in reference groups, training and testing on new functionality etc.

Position Overview The Technical Account Manager (TAM) is a customer-facing professional who owns the technical relationship with our customers. The TAM is responsible for driving technical success with the customers and ensuring they are maximizing the value they are receiving from the SiteSpect solution. This person will work on a set of assigned accounts in regular face to face cadence with these customers. The TAM is professional, organized and detail-oriented, they have excellent communication skills, work autonomously and follows through to ensure positive and healthy customer experience. Job Responsibilities * Develop and maintain a deep understanding of both the product and our customers' specific needs in order to drive customer value. * Work independently and collaboratively with SiteSpect consultants to implement A/B and multivariate tests using your expertise in JavaScript, HTML and CSS and the SiteSpect tool. * Provide advanced training, support, and troubleshooting to ensure client satisfaction and success. * Analyze website performance (i.e. page loading and rendering speed), and apply optimizations to improve speed. * Enable small-scale JavaScript development for advanced testing functionality. * Utilize Regular Expressions in creating A/B and multivariate tests. * Integrate common Web Analytics products with A/B and multivariate tests for data validation. * Create documentation and best practices as a result of new solutions created. * Represent SiteSpect to our clients, as Subject Matter Expert, building and teaching clients to find new value in our tools. * Travel to customer locations to provide on-site support and assist with training, troubleshooting, diagnosing, escalation and resolution of customer issues. * Act as a voice of the customer in advocating for and prioritizing feature requests. * Provide ongoing, long-term technical account management for customers. * Maintain ownership of cases (issues) which are related to the customer's configurations/deployment or that may impair their use of SiteSpect, acting as a customer advocate within SiteSpect to investigate and resolve. Work to design proactive mitigation plans, and resolve customers concerns with escalation when required. Requirements * Passion and commitment for delivering outstanding customer experience. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to organize and present to executives. * Strong customer satisfaction orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Excellent time management skills, with ability to work against deadlines. * 3-5 years of technical account management, customer success or engineering consulting at a SaaS company. * 2 or more years of front-end Web development and/or UI design experience. * Strong skills in JavaScript, HTML and CSS. * DOM Scripting, JavaScript event handling, and knowledge of JavaScript frameworks for example, Angular, React, Backbone. * Experience with regular expressions is a plus. * Working knowledge of web performance measurement with synthetic and real user monitoring tools and techniques. * Familiarity with Web Analytics products (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, IBM Analytics, WebTrends, etc.) is a plus. * Professional or academic experience in software programming is a plus. * BS in Computer Science preferred. * Project management experience is a plus. * Frequent travel in the greater Philadelphia area is required for this role.
