The Technical Account Manager II (TAM II) is a highly knowledgeable and certified trusted advisor who engages our vendors, reseller partners, sales, and technical organizations to provide technical enablement that drives growth and development.
The TAM II makes Ingram Micro an indispensable business partner through collaboration with reseller and vendor partners.
The TAM II assists in driving sales, provides product recommendations, and ensures delivery of complete technical solutions built around our vendor's products, services, and technologies.
This is accomplished through results oriented, accurate processing of customer requests, as well as internal communication and coordination to complete these requests within SLAs.
The TAM II contributes to building and maintaining business relationships by providing prompt and accurate service to ensure customer satisfaction.
The TAM II position requires a high level of interpersonal and relationship skills to facilitate direct interaction with our internal departments (sales, licensing, purchasing, technical support, and vendor marketing); as well as vendors, reseller customers, and their end users.
There is a high level of focus on internal and/or external technical enablement activities which develop and grow vendor business.
Job Qualifications and Educational Requirement
Required skills: Personal computing.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and problem solving aptitude.
Demonstration of critical thinking capabilities a must.
Ability to create and deliver training presentations.
Ability to work in a team environment, maintain a high level of accuracy while handling large quantities of information, multi-task, respond positively to rapid change, perform with a strong sense of urgency, build strong business relationships, deliver a high level of customer service, and prioritize work under detailed supervision.
Typically, the level of experience and education required to demonstrate these key elements of knowledge/skills/experiences are:
A Bachelor's degree or 3+ years technical enablement experience. Industry recognized certifications.
Prior training experience and/or sales experience a plus.
