Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Seven years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.

Technical Account Manager- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

We are seeking Technical Account Managers (TAMs) around the U.S. to drive cloud adoption and help us design and deliver Oracle Gen2, a whole new level of next generation cloud computing!

Even more focused than its revolutionary predecessor, Gen 2 focuses on enterprise customer demands unlike any suitors in the market today. Our next generation is being architected with more security, reliability, scalability and the flexibility to support existing and rapid expansion of enterprise complex deployments in the cloud.

You are our customer-advocate in this endeavor and will work in a lot of white space as we continue to rapidly expand our footprint the cloud. As our TAM, you will:

  • Help customers plan and execute a cloud strategy, including providing best practice advice, implementation guidance, migration expertise and access to our Oracle subject matter expert arsenal.

  • Identify and monitor key success metrics to help ensure customers get the most out of their Oracle investment.

  • Participate in deep architectural discussions with customers, support and Oracle field personnel to ensure customer solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.

  • Author and contribute to customer-facing publications, such as customer specific Architectures, Design Guides, and product presentations.

  • Forge deep relationships with our costumer's senior business and technical leaders

  • Act as the technical liaison between customers, Oracle service engineering teams and support.


  • 8 years' enterprise customer engagement experience as product manager, architect or sales engineer

  • Prior experience in managing customers, developing roadmaps and driving technical requirements for migrating or transforming customer solutions to the cloud.

  • High level of proficiency and exposure to Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) in a Public or Private Cloud environment

  • Experience and/or Architecture-level knowledge of virtualization, high availability and disaster recovery on public cloud platforms

  • Experience communicating and presenting in white board sessions, small and large group conversations, and formal presentations

  • Strong analytical, facilitation and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with common enterprise solutions from Oracle, Microsoft, SAP & VMware

  • Familiarity with Big Data, Analytics, Machine Learning and HPC architectures and workloads

  • Experience with other cloud platform including AWS, Azure, Google Compute Platform & VMware is a plus

  • Nice to have: Oracle Maximum Availability Architecture (MAA) for database and middleware platforms, Oracle Database WebLogic/Java
