Overview Support Technical Operations in the installation, construction, maintenance and operations in one of the following areas: staging (construction), lighting, audio, paint, scenic dressing, park decor, special effects.
Provides hands on theatrical techniques and skills in the above mentioned specialty area, following directions from the supervision team.
Qualifications Minimum 1-3 years prior experience in the field of live sound, special events, or audio production.
Must have theatrical experience in one or more of the following: scenic painter/artist, props, scenic carpenter or construction, rigging, special effects, decor, stage lighting, or live sound reinforcement.
Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
Responsibilities Set up and operate audio systems for daily running shows and special events.
Client interaction- Great customer service skills are required.
Constructs, installs, strikes, and/or repairs stage scenes, set dressings, props, lighting equipment, audio equipment, and any other technical equipment as needed.
Operates and maintains theatrical equipment such as fly rails, scenery changes, props, follow spots, lighting boards, lighting equipment, audio boards, PA systems, and audio visual equipment.
Read, understand and implement plans and blueprints.
Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
Meets Cedar Fair's attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair's attendance policies.
Adheres to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.

Reporting to the general manager, Professional Audio Division (PAD), Yamaha is looking for a Director of Marketing for the company's Commercial Audio (CA) team. We are looking for an exceptional candidate who brings to the table at least 10 years of success in leading a larger commercial audio marketing group and someone who has integrated marketing experience. Most importantly, we are looking for a team member that understands the end-to-end marketing process, from marketing strategy to implementation and customer experience measurement. The successful candidate will also have a deep knowledge of some or many of the commercial audio vertical markets – installed audio, distributed audio (CIS), corporate rental, education and house of worship (HOW) and touring live sound and others – and will have a sterling reputation in the industry.
