Tech Support Analyst

Your role

We're looking for a Tech Support Analyst to:

• Dissect technical problems, analyze data, and recommend potential solutions.

• Support the service and product manager across several technical domains.

• Participate in different projects, including upgrade, migration and client related activities.

• Ensure workflows, processes, tooling and applications are of the highest quality standard.

• Contribute expertise to the management of existing and new IT products and services.

• Create and enhance documentation and ability to train our clients globally.

• Work in an environment with multiple customers and prioritize to achieve department goals and meet/exceed customer expectations.

• Assist internal users of Splunk in designing and maintaining production-quality dashboards.

• Tackle technical issues to establish the root cause of problems and form a solution or workaround across a variety of environments.

• Use IT problem analysis them to drive product and service improvement.

• Can work remotely.

Your expertise

Education & Experience Requirement

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or a related field of study plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or 1 year of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer or a related occupation.

Alternate Education & Experience Requirement (if applicable)

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or a related field of study and 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer or a related occupation in lieu of Master's degree and 1 year of experience.

Position requires experience with the following:

• Splunk in Linux and Windows OS environment;

• Using Spunk to perform production error monitoring and root cause analysis;

• Service Now;

• Jira;

• Confluence;

• GitHub;

• Shell;

• Powershell;

• IPSoft;

• ITSI.
