The Tech Support Analyst 1 is responsible for ensuring the daily distributed backups are running efficiently; this is monitoring the current running and ensuring the best possible usage of our current resources. They work with the senior backup administrator to solve issues on installation of software, restores or backups. In addition, they will be the backup for the current change control administrator to handle prism promotes or regular promotes.
Minimum High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred
Technical background with UNIX or Wintel is a plus
Some knowledge of resolving installation of software, restoration and backup issues is a plus
Attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently and a self-starter
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm
Required to participate in a rotation of on-call responsibilities and assistance in special projects such as major testing campaigns or disaster recovery
