The Tech Specialist 3 will demonstrate the following capabilities:

  • Install and maintain electronic security systems with experience on various systems and with multiple customer programs

  • Understand and analyze design documentation and system data to plan and execute installation and maintenance activities

  • Identify installation and maintenance activities and determine execution durations

  • Complete high quality device and component installation activities and maintenance activities

  • Participate in configuration of servers, workstations, panels and other programmable components

  • Execute testing to verify high quality installations

  • Execute testing to identify and correct system problems at component and system levels as part of system sustainment activities

  • Install system raceway

  • Install system cabling

  • Terminate and test system cabling and all components

  • Install equipment racks, enclosures, panels and all mounting hardware components

  • Meet all attendance requirements and working hours of the assignment

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors

  • Communicate effectively with subordinates

  • Incorporate, follow and reinforce all required safety practices at all times

  • Participate in creation, updates, and management of project schedules

  • Identify potential project risks and manage to mitigate

  • Track, document and analyze for productivity improvements

  • Perform design drawing take-offs and participate in material order preparation

  • Complete detailed and accurate as-built, testing, and quality control documentation

  • Participate in logistics planning for personnel and equipment

  • Perform as the primary contact for field operations with the customer representatives

  • Responsible for field actions, risks, problem resolution, improvements, and personnel

Specific position requirements are as follows:

  • Requires a TS/SCI with polygraph

  • Requires minimum six (10) years of experience in installation and/or maintenance of security, video surveillance, card access and alarm systems

  • Ten (10) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs

  • Requires a HS diploma or GED

  • Requires a Valid driver's license

  • Requires travel, (80%), CONUS and OCONUS and ability to maintain a valid passport, this is a travel position.

Specific desired experience, skills and certifications are as follows:

  • Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems

  • Lenel OnGuard Enterprise Security System certification

  • East Coast Security System certifications

  • Software House C-Cure

  • Cisco

  • APC

Dean is looking for an Operations & Process Analyst 5 to join a team on a project with a DoD Service Cyber Component organization at Ft. Meade, MD. The position may require travel to CONUS and OCONUS customer locations up to 5% of the time. The Operations & Process Analyst 5 is a critical component in establishing capability assurance at the client level. The position operates in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment in support of Department of Defense initiatives. The position will be located at the customer project site at Ft. Meade, MD. * Must have: Bachelor's Degree with 10-12 Years of Experience or Master's Degree with 7-9 Years experience Candidates with a Bachelor's degree or higher in business administration/management, systems engineering, engineering, or research-oriented discipline preferred. * Applicants must already hold at minimum a TS/SCI or TS with SCI eligibility active clearance. * Applicants must already have polygraph with favorable results on file. * Applicants must demonstrate ability to conduct research – open source and enclave specific. * Applicants must demonstrate the ability to analyze and represent understanding of operational missions and concepts of operations. * Applicants must demonstrate the ability to analyze, document, and implement changes to processes and procedures. * Experience with planning and execution of battle drills, table top exercises, and full command exercises is preferred. * Applicants must demonstrate strong writing skills and will be required to provide a writing sample. * Applicants must demonstrate ability to establish the client relationship, assessing client issues and proposing project solutions; review, coordinate, and summarize client correspondence to assist the project leadership's understanding of client priorities, scope changes, deadlines and deliverables; use this experience to develop project leadership skills and assume those responsibilities. * Applicants must demonstrate ability to develop operational concepts and requirements that can be translated into technical requirements. * Applicants must demonstrate ability to prepare documentation, reports and presentations defining problems, evaluation, and possible/recommended concepts or solutions. * Applicants must demonstrate ability to present findings with support materials to government/military sponsors, operational commands and organizations. * Applicants must demonstrate ability to think creatively and communicate thoughts both in terms of structured narrative and visual graphics * Applicants must demonstrate professional etiquette and ability to interact with leadership and staff personnel in both industry and government/department of defense. * Applicants must demonstrate ability to use MS Office suite, specifically MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
