This position is a key role for Enterprise Information Technology and Technology Resource Optimization (TRO) in the Resource Strategy area. The incumbent assist in the development, planning, implementation and governance of a complex, cross-functional Resource Strategy for EIT. This will entail development and governance of projects, tools, and processes to enable forecasting of resource demand and capacity in accordance with established EIT goals and resource plans. The incumbent will partner with EIT leadership and business offices, Global Delivery Risk, HR, and other stakeholders to assist in aligning EIT's resource plans with established strategies, planned projects and initiatives, risk, corporate property plans, talent acquisition, and capability development.
This position will interact with the most senior levels of management across EIT and the enterprise to support Resource Strategy in the cross-functional programs and initiatives, including the head of EIT and direct reports.
This role is part of Technology Resource Optimization within the Business Performance team in Enterprise Technology Operations. The Business Performance team will drive stronger and more efficient practices across technology, enabling more effective Technology Resource Staffing, Vendor Management Operation and Third Party Risk Management.This team will drive rigor and compliance across EIT, enabling stronger decisioning and fact based discussions.
Objectives for this Role
Serve as the liaison between assigned EIT LOBs and the TRO single point of contact on all resourcing needs, including Wells Fargo employees, Managed Resources, SOWs, and the EGS Transition process
Collaborate with and enable EIT LOB leaders to define Target Resource Model and develop the road map for assigned EIT LOBs based upon the skills, needs, direction, location, and specific business requirements for those LOBs
Define Resource Compliance and Risk requirements, issues and risks for assigned LOBs to drive compliance across EIT for various resourcing channels
Enhances transparency of EGS onboarding processes by sharing best practices and collaborating with Global Services Program Office to drive shorter transition timelines and increased capabilities offshore
Assist in development, implementation and governance of tools and process that enable EIT's Resource Strategy
Maintains regular contact with senior management within Technology and supported business unit
Conducts research and analysis of competitive market environment for innovative business products and services, regulatory/compliance issues, and implications of new implementations.
May provide leadership to less experienced staff
Relationship management experience delivering technology services between one or more internal technology organizations large internal lines of business
4+ years of information technology experience
Ability to influence and build relationships with LOB stakeholders, technology CIO leadership, external service providers, and architecture teams
Ability to present complex concepts to senior management
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of contingent staffing or human resource policies/processes related to nonemployee procurement
Strong vendor management skills
Management experience in an matrixed organization environment
Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals
Other Desired Qualifications
ITILv3, PMP, or related IT certifications a plus (Scrum, SAFe, etc.).
5-7 years leadership and/or management experience in a technical / service delivery environment.
3+ years of management consulting experience at a top-tier consulting firm
Knowledge and understanding of offshore operations processes
Experience supporting or directing offshore information technology teams
Experience in management / creation of Statements of Work
Experience with demand planning for projects/organizations to include capacity and utilization analysis
Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering strategic roadmaps.
Demonstrated presentation skills to a variety of audiences from key stakeholders to executive management
Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Problem solver adept at driving issues to solutions and gaining alignment from several stakeholders
Flexibility to frequently be on call beyond normal working hours
Ability to work additional hours as needed
Ability to travel domestically and internationally
Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
