Responsibilities and Qualifications
The Position: Customer Service Technician
Shifts: Monday Friday (9/80 schedule)
Our Blackhawk Manhattan, Montana facility is seeking a Customer Service Technician to add to our team. The Customer Service Technician is responsible for customer Technical service issues related to the Holsters, Night-Ops, Tactical Knife, and Suppressor product lines. Ability to utilize soft skills, problem solving, and product knowledge to assist customers effectively. Support quality department as needed
Including but not limited to
Answer and assist all calls received into the Customer Technical Service Department.
Proper processing of all telephone, web and prepaid orders.
Properly and professionally responds to email in timely manner which include technical questions, order status, availability of product and authorized dealer referral questions.
Prompt and accurate responses to voice mail messages.
Responsible for providing RMA numbers to customers for returns and warranty issues.
Correctly entering new and previous customer information in Customer Maintenance.
Responsible for meeting goals that are set forth by management goals to be determined at a later date.
Initiates all Post Office or UPS package claims internally.
Attends product training and passes new and correct information to fellow CSR's.
Must allow customer service processes videotaping.
Assists with technical questions and order processing for phone-in orders
Resolve customer complaints in a timely professional manner
All other duties assigned by supervisor
No disciplinary action above level 1 for past 12 months
Minimum 12 months employment at Vista Outdoor-Manhattan(internal applicant)
Ability to pass ATF gun control act background check
Minimum of 12 months verifiable experience with guns and or Blackhawk Shooting Accessories products
Minimum 12 months verifiable experience in a technical customer support problem solving role.
Minimum 12 months experience in a role requiring accurate data entry
Strong written and verbal communication skills utilized in a professional environment
Strong and clear interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Experience with customer conflict resolution while maintaining professional demeanor (preferred)
Experience utilizing Microsoft AX or similar system as well as other Microsoft Office programs
Ability to make logical decisions in a dynamic, and at times, ambiguous work environment
Additional desirable qualifications
Post high school education
Experience in a customer service call center setting
Experience with call center software
Experience working in a collaborative environment
