THE POSITION
The Summer Employment Program (SEP) Team Supervisor actively participates in the program to contribute to the quality and compliance of contracted services. The Team Supervisor supervises assigned staff and clients, providing training and oversight. This individual works closely with students, families, employers, and job sites to provide support and assistance. The Team Supervisor will provide direct service, as required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Participate, facilitate, and complete all assigned training, intake nights, and meetings
Provide on the job, goal oriented services and supports to assigned students
Ensure timely, accurate and professional documentation on all information submitted
Ensure quality and consistency of employment services for the assigned area(s)
Promote and maintain professional relationships with contractors, other service providers, employers, parents, etc.
Assess needs quickly and provide solutions proactively
Actively participate in visiting and shadowing at job sites
Ensure shifts are covered, providing direct service as required
Support employees to complete accurate assessments by established deadlines
Assist employees in providing feedback and skill building opportunities for students
Collaborate with required partners to coordinate fading plans, as necessary
Adhere to mandatory communication requirements
Manages complaints in a courteous, professional manner, escalating as appropriate
Maintains professional business appearance and demeanor
Assure compliance with all state and federal rules and regulations and policies
Complete all other duties as required to support the mission and function of the department.

Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent
Minimum of 18 years of age
Minimum of one year of paid work experience
Have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and car insurance
Must be able to pass a background check
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong independent problem solving and decision-making skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and interdependently
Knowledge of Google Suite
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to be flexible with work environments and scheduling
Excellent organizational and project management skills
