The Staples North American Delivery [NAD] segment, focusing on B2B customers, is hiring a Team Supervisor, NAD Leads Desk, who will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Leads Desk process and team. This role will report directly to the Sr. Manager NAD Leads Desk, within the Sales Operations department.
The Leads Desk Team Supervisor will be tasked with providing a sustained high-value supply of business development sales opportunities to the field. They will maintain the current state of the system while leading and coaching a team of high performing Leads Desk Analysts. They will interface with various areas of the business to identify additional prospect sources. They will collect and react to Sales feedback to iterate and improve the Prospect vetting process for the Leads Desk team. They will attend relevant Sales leadership meetings and serve as a support resource. The Leads Desk Team Supervisor will strongly influence, drive and impact the results of the Staples B2B business development sales organization by helping to own, create and maintain the Leads Desk function.
Support a team of Leads Desk analysts to deliver high-value Prospects to Sales teams.
Provide a support service and interface directly with the Business Development Sales leaders.
Play a significant role in expanding the Lead Desk function and hiring additional Leads Desk team members.
Serve as Subject Matter Expert for and co-creator of all Business Development rules of engagement.
Serve as Subject Matter Expert for and co-creator of all Prospect Evaluation and Scoring Models.
Develop and lead UAT testing and deployment.
Maintain an up-to date, in-depth knowledge of industry prospect sources and data standards.
Provide input through Leads Desk reporting to influence the strategic direction of Leads Desk.
Role will be responsible for guidance and leadership of Leads Desk Analyst team. This includes the initial co-creation of the Leads Desk function and close partnership with our business development sales force to ensure proper execution and strategic alignment.
Tactical aspects include system maintenance, reporting and interfacing directly with the field sales team regarding all Leads Desk performance metrics.
Conduct analytics to proactively monitor Prospect and Lead quality and draw conclusions on findings.
Develop and implement platform design improvements as needed.
Participate in strategic discussions to influence senior management on business decisions surrounding enhancements.
Internal customer interactions will interact on a regular basis with the Staples Business Advantage Sales Ops, Sales, Finance Commissions and Strategy teams.
Will be responsible for communicating with senior level sales customers (RSDs, RVPs, VPs) regarding Prospecting cycle.
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in sales enablement and support, data analytics, supporting technology solutions and/or sales operations
Minimum 2-3 years of demonstrated excellence in leading a team
Strong Excel knowledge with the capability to develop complex formulas to identify root causes or data patterns.
Attention to detail and analytical mindset
Knowledge of lead generation process best practices
Strong communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in Access
Experience hiring, training and mentoring a new team
