POSITION SUMMARY
The Team Relations Manager is responsible for handling team member professional and personal concerns and guiding leaders through complex HR situations according to company policies and procedures. They serve as a subject matter expert in performance management and provide recommendations that mitigate risk. This individual contributor role will work closely with business leaders and other members of the People Strategy team to continually improve the team member experience.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
o Advise and support general questions and concerns from team members and leaders.
o Manage communication and logistics for disciplinary action and separation processes, consulting with business leaders, legal, operations, and any other appropriate teams.
o Provide coaching and performance management guidance for leaders, offering solutions on HR scenarios and escalating issues as needed.
o Assist in assessing risk and identifying resources in team member mental health situations.
Regularly consult with business area leaders to implement proactive performance management strategies and address team concerns.
Develop and/or lead and conduct listening strategies, both 1:1 and org-wide (engagement surveys, stay interviews, exit interviews, etc.), identify trends, and propose recommendations. Work closely with the Talent & Organizational Development Director to tie threads between leader/team member needs and professional development and training offerings.
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the team member experience and help develop and implement innovative ideas and solutions.
Other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training, and experience (required)
Approximately 7 years of related HR experience (required)
Professional HR Certification (e.g. SHRM-CP, PHR, etc. preferred)
Must be able to work in-office 4 days per week Monday through Thursday

Knowledgeable in applicable employment laws such as the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), etc.
Well-versed in diversity, equity, and inclusion foundational principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and HRIS/workforce management platforms (e.g. Lattice and Workday)
