The Training & Evangelism team is responsible for driving global market adoption of Meraki among Cisco, partner, and customer audiences. We do this by developing, promoting, and delivering scalable programs that build knowledge and create enthusiasm among participants. In this position, you will oversee the delivery of Cisco Meraki technical training programs, support the development of processes and content, and lead and develop a team of Senior Technical Evangelists who are responsible for the development and delivery of local, regional, and global training content and resources. The ideal candidate is an experienced and passionate engineering professional with a strong technical background and demonstrated leadership. You should possess strong interpersonal skills, the ability to effectively manage complex projects, an eye for developing compelling training content, and excitement about leading a dynamic and growing team at the forefront of cloud networking. Responsibilities: * Develop and lead a global team of Senior Technical Evangelists, ensuring projects and outcomes align with Training and Evangelism timelines and priorities * Oversee the development of new training materials and programs and serve as a technical escalation point for the team * Collaborate with other teams both within Training & Evangelism and in other areas of the organization on program development and evolution * Lead technical trainings and deliver updates to Cisco Meraki partner engineers, Cisco employees, and customers * Evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum and offerings and adjust as needed Key Experience: * Comprehensive technical expertise in the areas of network and system engineering, Windows domain management, and virtualization environments (VMWare) * Experience managing globally distributed technical teams * Demonstrated project and program management - ability to plan, identify, coordinate, and track critical activities, milestones and deliverables with strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Demonstrated skills in training needs analysis, program and curriculum development, instructional design, training delivery, and training evaluation methods * Experience working on cross-functional teams and facilitating successful project outcomes * Assured and articulate public speaking skills in front of large and diverse technical audiences Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree from a top tier school * 5+ years of experience in a technical lead or management role * Preferred certifications include: CCNP (R&S, Security, Wireless, Design), VCP(X)-DCV, VCP(X)-NV, MCSA, MCSE, CMNA * Knowledge and/or hands-on experience with Meraki hardware and services highly desired * Previous experience in a training, pre-sales, and/or learning & development role highly desired * Excitement about traveling 10-20% globally * Strong English is required Cisco is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, genetic information, age, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected basis.
