Job Summary:

The purpose of this position is to resolve all inventory discrepancies and process inaccuracies. This effort contributes to successful inventory audits of the facility and achieving or exceeding performance targets.

The Support Team Member performs routine cycle counts of the inventory to ensure the system quantity and physical quantity of product is accurate. The Team Member is responsible for researching and reporting inventory differences and product damages over a certain threshold to corporate and/or to the Support Coach. The Support Team Member is also responsible for performing process audits of the entire facility as well as quality audits for both inbound and outbound loads. The Support Team Member executes Pre-Item Setup and also manages receiving hospital lanes to investigate issues and provide resolution.


Essential Functions and

Responsibilities:

Research inventory discrepancies and resolve; contact Corporate if inventory gain or loss is over a certain threshold (holding account)

Report and Resolve cancelled picks (product not picked for shipping that was allocated) in the system

Audit processes across the facility to ensure correct process and quality is being maintained by Operations Team Members and our vendors; record inaccuracies and report to Operations Coach

Perform scheduled cycle count of product in the facility; perform recount of product when inventory discrepancies occur

Monitor inventory levels and slotting strategy to maximize warehouse capacity

Resolve for cartons diverted to hospital lane on receiving sorter

Records all damages that occurred by the vendor or in house by a Lowe's employee and determine proper disposal method

Responsible for all hazmat processing and ensure all state and federal policies are followed to maintain compliance

Be flexible and be able to easily adjust to changing responsibilities of role based on the changing demands of the DFC business

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

Place and release location holds in the system (places product on hold so it cannot be picked for shipping)

Monitor waves (product to be picked) and work with Building Coach to close open waves

Required Qualifications:

Demonstrated adherence to safety requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Basic computer skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Basic math and reading comprehension

Approaches change optimistically; adjusts quickly and proficiently to changing work environments

Analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex problems; creative problem-solving

Successfully manages multiple tasks simultaneously while still being detail-oriented

Copes positively in high-stress work environment

Ability to work independently as well as with a team

Strong communication and people skills

Effectively prioritizes work and possesses time management skills

Highly motivated to Operation's success; goal-oriented

Preferred Qualifications:

Post-secondary education preferred

Familiarity with distribution center operations

Experience with software applications such as Excel, Access or Lowe's DMS system

Charter Foods has a strong preference for internal promote from Hourly Champion position. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation. Basic business math is also required along the ability to stock shelves and coolers, oversee and manage subordinate employees and provide direction, able to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves and lift and carry out trash containers and place in an outside bin. Management must also be able to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the restaurant, and be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs, and be able to stoop. Shift Managers are eligible for company paid Basic Life Insurance, Short/Long Term Disability and Additional Life as a payroll deduction. Shift Managers also accumulate vacation as long as the manager hours average 30+ hours for a year while acting as Shift manager. This list of job duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive.
