Statement of Purpose:________________________________________________

A Bus Person is responsible for maintaining service efficiency through communication with the food servers, host/hostess and managers. Accountable for the cleanliness of the front of the house, restrooms and the exterior.

Accountabilities:____________________________________________________

  • Clears soiled dishes between guests with minimal noise. Delivers soiled dishes to the appropriate containers in the dish tank area.

  • Cleans and sanitizes tables and chairs, in addition to maintaining cleanliness of property around the restaurant (i.e. foyer, front porch, sidewalk etc).

  • Empties trash from the designated areas throughout shift. Cleans and stock restrooms every 30 minutes or as needed.

  • Works with other staff to ensure 100% guest satisfaction as it pertains to dining room cleanliness.

  • May be asked to assist in other job categories as well.

  • All other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills

Education/Experience:________________________________________________

  • 0-2 years related experience

  • Strong knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant

  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

  • General knowledge of commercial dishwashing is preferred, but not required

  • At least 16 years of age

Support division's merchandising efforts in a manner consistent with Kroger's Corporate Brand Mission and P.L. Marketing. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * 3rd shift: Monday through Thursday 9 pm to 7 am * Provide customer assistance and have a working knowledge of Kroger's Customer 1st Strategy * Direct temporary workers when needed * Work independently to execute category/aisle set plan * Demonstrate a high level of teamwork when interacting with Kroger, National Food Brokers and other P.L. Marketing employees * Help identify opportunities to increase sales of Kroger Corporate Brands with recommendations for new items, improved product placement, pricing/promotional opportunities and resolution for any supply/stocking issues * Apply strong merchandising skills and ability to read, understand and implement plan-o-grams * Complete assigned plan-o-gram work in a timely manner; ensure sections are properly tagged * Work in all departments of a store per plan * Operate a CAO gun and printer * Operate Kroger equipment in a "safety first" manner * Consistently communicate retail opportunities to supervisor (P.L.
