Job Description Job Description Job Summary The Team Manager is a professional in charge of guiding, monitoring and leading an entire group. They are responsible for motivating their teammates as well as inspiring positive communication within them so that they can work together toward achieving goals.

General Accountabilities Team Management Manage the daily activities of the team members. Oversee scheduling Set targets, implement guidelines, and support employees to solve any issues that may arise. Establish a set of expectations, monitor progress, motivate and provide guidance and support, so teams can complete tasks successfully.

Team check-ins 1-on1 check-ins Coaching Call evaluations Performance review 30th day 3rd month annual Manage recruitment, onboarding & training of team members. Come up with new innovative ideas for the team. Discover training needs and provide coaching Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments Suggest and organize team building activities Coordinate with other departments to ensure that projects are completed within time constraints Evaluating the success of programs and initiatives to determine what can be improved in future efforts Creating schedules for team members and providing feedback on their performance Documenting progress on projects and tasks Office Responsibilities Attend all team meetings Coordinate with Operations manager on business meeting agenda Spearhead team meetings Staff related meetings Tax team related meetings (preparers & partners) Keeping all LA Tax Trainual up to date and current Make sure the team are updating assigned subjects Complete tax courses (IRS) Oversee ClickUp use of the team Preparers Management Oversee all preparers associated Create work emails for the hosted office Oversee creation of Preparer_LATax social media accounts Oversee returns in the hosted office Check which returns are done by the preparer Make sure preparer complete the assigned return Make sure returns prepared are accurate & timely Make sure no returns are unassigned & queued Oversee & coordinate photoshoots LA Tax & Associates Preparer wearing their company shirts Preparer Individual headshot Preparer Group shots LA Tax Staff headshot Oversee recruitment, onboarding, & training of overseas preparers (Philippines) Financial Management Coordinate with Operations Manager for pay disputes & timesheet review Oversee approval of team time off requests
