CAI is seeking an experienced QA Test Lead/Manager in our Harrisburg, PA office. This individual will oversee a team of quality assurance support analysts will test functional programs and applications within our client environment, supporting our Autism2Work Practice.
You will work with your team, providing training, guidance, support & supervision. Excellent knowledge of at least one programming language & Quality Assurance is preferred. You must be familiar with a variety of operating systems and platforms, as well as current Quality Assurance best practices and standards. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, have an analytical mindset and keen eye for details.
Manage information technology and computer systems.
Plan, organize, control and evaluate information technology and data operations.
Manage IT staff by supporting, training and coaching employees in communicating job expectations and apprising of their performance.
Design, Develop, Validate, Implement and Coordinate systems, policies and procedures.
Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organization policy.
Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in a timely manner.
Appraise customer requirements and make sure they are satisfied.
Keep detailed records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation for weekly & bi-weekly reporting for your teams progress.
At least 8 yrs proven experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience (preferably as Quality Assurance Professional).
At least 6 years of leading Testing efforts, including experience with all phases of testing: System, Integration, User Acceptance and Performance Testing.
At least 4 years of testing experience in different environments including one or more of the following client server, Services Oriented Architecture, Web based, Mainframe based and three tier architectures.
At least 4 years of experience with one or more of the following tools: HP toolset, Rational toolset, SOA testing tools and automation testing toolsets.
Experience with tracking and reporting SLAs and KPIs in a managed services testing engagement
Experience with implementing techniques such as Service Virtualization using CA, HP or IBM tools
Experience leading geographically dispersed teams
Thorough knowledge of software development methodologies
Outstanding Communication Skills.
Great Attention to Detail and a results driven approach.
Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
Reliable and Trustworthy
Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems.
Expertise in Data Management and Governance
Hands on experience with Application Development and Quality Assurance
Ability to manage, train and guide personnel
BS in Computer Science, MIS, etc.

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities: * Inspects all incoming shipments of assigned product groups, as well as product stored in the warehouse. May rate products according to Company and USDA specifications. Maintains necessary inspections and rejection records. * Accepts or rejects product based on condition, short weight, transit damage, grade, temperature and other reasons. May reject product without further consultation if product doesn't meet Company's requirements/standards. * Spot-checks frozen foods to ensure that it complies with the Company's standards and specifications. Maintains necessary rejection records. * Informs buyers on product quality as necessary. * Prepares warehouse condition reports as requested. * May organize shipping schedule for all items having different degrees of maturity. Gives shipping instructions to assembly via warehouse supervision. * Determine the dollar cost and cause of warehouse shrink due to spoilage. Make recommendations to management regarding reduction in shrink. * Maintain logs and record of spoilage, including information on overbuying, lack of retail performance, weak produce, etc. Prepare monthly and quarterly recaps for review by management. * Ensures that appropriate personnel are trained in the proper handling, storage, rotation, and selection of produce to be shipped to the retail units. Ensure that shipping crews are provided with daily information on lots to be shipped. Job Requirements: * Previous Retail Department Manager or 2 – 4 years wholesale/retail experience. * Must possess leadership ability to motivate others to achieve desired results. Deal effectively with a wide variety of people on a daily basis. * Strong analytical skills required for data interpretation and analysis.
