The primary purpose of this role is to lead, manage and oversee the Sales Administration team in the delivery of world-class sales and network support while contributing towards the achievement of North American sales objectives. The incumbent will also be responsible for ongoing coaching, mentoring and successfully implementing personal development plans for all department members in ways that contribute to higher productivity and fulfillment.
1.Lead Sales Coordinator team in the ongoing support of North American sales team members, ensuring acceptable service levels are provided and accurate transactions carried out (Engine and PAC order entry, information sharing, program monitoring, order management, cash/credit management, contribution to regional sales initiatives etc)
2.Monitor quality level of daily support provided to North American distribution network by Sales Coordinator team, ensuring Evinrude differentiates itself in the marketplace by its world-class partnerships (knowledge of products & programs, prompt phone/email support, demonstrating value, being proactive vs reactive etc.)
3.Contribute to the achievement of monthly/quarterly/annual sales objectives by ensuring Sales Administration tasks are properly and timely managed
4.Manage relationship with wholesale finance partners, including but not limited to TCF & W Fargo
5.Provide effective strategic & tactical work direction to team members in ways that ensure key milestones and deadlines are delivered upon. Host team meetings as appropriate
6.Ensure Order management policies are enforced consistently, especially at key periods
7.Coach, develop and evolve team in ways that generate higher productivity
8.Proactively contribute to Sales-related network communications, program bulletins, BOSSWeb postings or other relevant documentation
9.Offer network & sales team insights based on team feedback, helping shape programs and/or business decisions as necessary
10. Ensure all financial transactions performed by team members are according to BRP policy and in line with Authorities & Limits Policy
11. Actively contribute ideas to improve Sales Administration team processes, reports, deliverables
12. Demonstrate the ability to "connect the dots" to all facets of the North American sales organization and distribution network
13. As prompted, assist Sales Leadership team with reports, ideation, project work & adhoc requests
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1.Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor
2.Strong leadership and influence skills
3.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
4.Strong time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks and deal with ambiguity
5.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Mainframe, JD Edwards, SAP and other relevant programs
A two (2) year college degree or equivalent with three (3) to five (5) years experience in Sales and/or Marketing preferred. The ideal candidate would also have leadership experience preferably in the recreational products industry.
