Production Team Lead
Cooperation with all team members and support functions (Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Support, Occupational Safety and Health, Human Resources). Direct guide to a group of operators performing activities in the same time interval (shift). Performs day-to-day tasks assigned by the Department Manager / Supervisor.
Performance Expectations
Responds in case of a problem. Ensures that all necessary measures are taken, informs the supporters
Monitors the operation during the shift and reports the correct data at the end of the shift
Audits once a week for standardized work
Monitors and records waste and follows the production process and procedures. Constant presence in the production department (daily contact with all team members, ensures regular production line management)
Organizes the employees from the lines in accordance with the production planning
Provides proper training for new line operators, including creation of training plans to increase team autonomy, provides training and supports team members
Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor
Credentials
High School Diploma or GED required
Vocational Degree preferred
More than 1 year experience in manufacturing, preferably automotive industry
Desired Characteristics
Understanding of technical processes and production, good knowledge of instructions for specific work, knowledge of quality instruments
Ability to work as part of a team (ability to cooperate with team, ability to contribute on team results)
Ability to understand written instructions
Ability to cope with rapid and sudden changes in information - ability to respond to them adequately
Ability to perform mechanical, routine work
Ability to work with various work tools (ability to use control and measuring devices)
Work initiative, non-conflict
Available for shift work
Able to work overtime as required
Physical dexterity - moderate physical demand
Lift up to 40 pounds
Stand and/or walk up to 12 hours
