Job Purpose (Job Summary):

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: Invesco is part of the Financial Services Industry, where technology partnered with stability can deliver a competitive advantage. The Workplace Environment team is accountable for architecting, designing and building the end user compute solutions that our business partners use to deliver a superior investment experience. They strive to achieve a goal of 99.99% service availability by ensuring standard initial build, ongoing maintenance, procedures and monitoring of the workplace environment technologies is undertaken effectively. Additionally, they ensure first class support and problem resolution is given in achieving this goal. Overview of Workplace Environment Team Lead: The primary role of the Enterprise Workplace Environment Team Lead will be to provide people and project oversight within the workplace device environment suite of services and technologies; this involves the design and planning, coordinating implementation, oversight of documentation and delivery of new technologies, and managing the refresh lifecycle of existing platforms. Although this is not an Operational role, assistance will be expected during major production issues and problem management. The Team Lead is accountable for partnering with key roles (e.g. App dev teams or other Infra. functions) to create solutions that are aligned to the architecture principles, leverage common solutions and services, and meet the financial targets (cost and benefits) as defined by leadership. The Team Lead ensures that the ongoing needs of the team are matched by appropriate staff development. This entails undertaking all associated people management activities including but not limited to conducting performance management reviews, regular 1-2-1's with direct reports, and regular team meetings.

Work Experience / Knowledge:

  • Experience in designing, building, and implementing Windows 10 in an enterprise environment and managing its lifecycle and features post-deployment

  • Strong knowledge of the different on-prem and cloud device management platforms that Microsoft support (SCCM / Intune / Device Management)

  • Experience in implementing or managing O365 Device Management in an enterprise environment

  • Experience with OSD

  • Experience managing Microsoft software updates and individual software packaging

  • Experience in Microsoft compatible agent management, Flexera/1E/Ivanti/etc.

  • Experience with managing Apple Mac OSX and Linux enterprise environments

  • Working knowledge of networks and infrastructure

  • Enterprise Software Deployment Methods

  • Ensure operational standards are adhered to. This includes actively looking to continuously improve working practices, ensure the team work's as efficiently as possible.

  • Ensure proper support handover is followed

  • Base knowledge of standard Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP

  • Base knowledge of standard IP networking standards, including firewalls and F5 load balancing

  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in implementing security in distributed device client environment

  • 7+ years of proven relevant IT experience

  • Proven relevant leadership experience

Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:

  • Ability to manage a small team of engineers with respect to their project work, administrative work, and team-based interactions

  • Proficient in data loss prevention (DLP) policy design and application

  • Security-minded approach: strong knowledge of SSL certificates and Information Security best practices

  • Must have ability to diagnose and solve problems while maintaining professionalism and courtesy

  • Be able to demonstrate commitment to exceptional client service

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbally and in writing

  • Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills

  • Be able to work adhere to Invesco technical and operational procedures and policies

  • The necessary interpersonal skills to effectively interact and communicate throughout the IT organization with individuals of varying technical abilities

  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, approachable and people oriented

  • Have the ability to delegate responsibilities and achieve the same outcome

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements, understand those requirements, and manage the implementations of the designed solutions in the environment

Formal Education: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)

  • Bachelor's degree preferred - in MIS, CIS, Computer Science, or related field

From roadside sign inventories and safety audits to the latest intelligent transportation system (ITS) innovations and applications, our professionals are adept at managing the entire design development and implementation process. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Traffic Operations & Studies Project Team Leader will play a critical role in the execution of high-quality projects that support the needs of our clients. CHA's Traffic Operations & Studies Project Team Leader is responsible for overseeing both technical staff and those in project management roles to include; reviewing appropriate staffing levels for the forecasted work, resource leveling, staff engagement, technical excellence and quality, and all operational activities so the team can function at an optimal level. At CHA the Project Team Leader is also responsible for the development of the staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality projects on time and within budget. This individual is measured relative to the team's project net revenue, project multiplier compared to budget, and expenses, as well as other metrics such as utilization and voluntary turnover. Additionally, as a Project Team Leader at CHA, individuals will also be expected to directly manage projects of varying size and scope. EDUCATION AND LICENSURE * Bachelor's Degree in engineering, planning, engineering management or a related degree is required. Master's degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and professional experience. * Professional technical licensure is required (i.e. Engineering, Planning, Project Management, etc.) or equivalent professional experience. * Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) certification preferred. SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS * A minimum of 10 years of experience (combination of project management and technical leadership) with proven success as a leader. * Technically astute and strategic in thinking to properly position the team for strong technical and financial performance and client satisfaction. * Strong written and verbal communication skills and understanding of his/her team. * An articulate and persuasive communicator, both one-on-one and in front of large groups. * Strong ability to resolve matters timely and lead initiatives/projects to completion with a sense of urgency. * Ability to inspire, motivate, build and manage relationships across the company, and influence decisions from the top down and bottom up. * Trustworthy with the ability to handle confidential matters and sensitive information or situations with discretion. * Strong experience with project budgeting. * Knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred.
